Stryper ran away and hid with the prize for this year. Worldview and Sweet Lynch were also good records. That's exactly how I feel, I think current Christian music has left me behind, I just can't get into most of the new metal, where is the good melodic rock and metal without modern European influence. | |

I am thinking of starting a separate list for re-issues. Initially, the Bloodgood re-issues, particularly "Out Of The Darkness", are going to rank near or at the top. But "Grace" is very underrated. I have listened to a good portion of it, and the album has a vintage classic rock feel with some slight progressive nuances on a couple of tracks. I also like how Gideon's Army makes use of a horn section in places. | |

| Great list! I love how many of us like the same albums but not necessarily having the same favorites. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I seriously don't know if I bought anything from 2015, apart from some ApologetiX. I downloaded a few free releases, but beyond that, I have hardly obtained anything new this year. I'm trying to appreciate the stuff I already have. That said, here are the 2015 releases in my iTunes library:
ApologetiX - Easter Standard Time ApologetiX - Music Is As Music Does ApologetiX - Unconditional Releases Boney M. - Diamonds (ok, this one is not quite in step with the others… lol) Mad Dragzter - Master of Space and Time Best of Fleas Naughty Dog compilation +
Yeah, not a massive list. My favourite might well be Easter Standard Time, or Disc 1 of Diamonds. | |

| Well, I'm not there yet as it's difficult to choose at the moment. But right now I'd say...
BEST ALBUM Signum Regis - Through The Storm EP. Great album with 4 stand out tracks. Don't really like the cover(s) but really diggin the vocals and the power of the songs.
OTHER GREATS Stryper - Fallen I've only been listening to this for a few days now (got it for Christmas) but this is a REALLY strong album, definitely better than any of their newer albums and most of their older ones. At the moment I'm liking it more than In God We Trust and To Hell With The Devil. Not a dud song on the album, although I'm not too keen on the cover!
Stairway - The Demo Sessions Only 5/6 tracks, but really cheap to buy. The quality is raw but very clear and not muddy at all. Love the songs and it shows how good this band are. Very pleased with this release.
Scandinavian Metal Praise 2 Brilliant album, better than the first and it's free! What's not to like. Lots of strong songs.
---------------
At the moment I'm struggling to like Signum Regis' Chapter IV. Not sure why, may be it's just the lyrics or the hooks... _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

I totally missed out on this one, waited a few days too long and they were sold out. I'm hoping they will decide to release it digitally. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| LOL... I know, I gave him 2 pix to choose from. First one was "cool" looking, then I added my work badge pic in case they wanted a "nice" pic. He chose the 2nd one instead... sigh. Course when you're in your mid-40s, it's nice now cuz you no longer give a rip what anyone thinks about you, whether you're cool, lame, how you dress, act, etc.... I even leave the house without combing my hair sometimes | |

Same here, also I have lost so much hair that I'm really starting to look like Patrick Stewart (only a much plumper version...and without the cool British accent) _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Signum Regis Exodus is rapidly becoming one of my favorite CDs. It was released in 2013, but I picked it up in the waning days of 2015 so I'm calling it a 2015 CD. At first I wasn't sure how I'd like the multiple lead singers, but I have to agree with one reviewer that said the band did well in choosing who sang lead for which song. They all fit very well with the pace and style of their respective tracks.
