No. Actually, what's taught is that in Heaven we will have 7 day weeks and that the 7th day will be the Sabbath. Kinda like now. So apparently, everyone will be a Sabbatarian in Heaven. Ugh. I personally think that time isn't really going to matter in Heaven.

| Oh the mind of a woman! (at dinner) Daughter: "instead of study hall today we were visited by a couple of Native American women that taught us how to make dream catchers." Me (mostly in jest): "You could have told them that dream catchers are against your religious beliefs and refused to participate." Daughter: "How are they against my beliefs?" Me: "They have meaning within the beliefs of Native spiritualism and mysticism, which is contrary to Christian beliefs." Wife: "Things don't always have to mean what some people think they mean." (later) Me: "I've created a monster. Amber is downstairs playing Diablo 3." Wife: "I know, and I'm not sure how to feel about that." Me: [look of puzzlement] Wife: "What does diablo mean? Devil." ( for those that are lost, I refer you back to line my wife's previous comment concerning dream catchers. ) Apparently making craft items that represent non-Christian teachings is preferably to being the hero in a fantasy game that deals with destroying evil." | |

| I'm still confused. The mind of a human. I think men and women are both confusing. I don't understand. Humans in general are just... bleh. Don't get me started. | |

| My fathers favorite brother passed away yesterday at 69 (my father named me after him). I really didn't know the guy (only met him once 20 years ago and didn't talk to him much). But since he had the same first and last name as me it has been a little surreal seeing "my" name plastered all over facebook saying "RIP Gary S. we will miss you...etc" _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | Whoa, sorry to hear that. Yeh, that must be strange eh ? I once made a mock obituary that looked just like the ones in the newspaper. Put my name and all info typical of an obit... but tried to think of the legacy I left behind and what people would write about me... I gave up the project and thought, I'd better get my act together or all people will be able to say is "he loved music... and his family... and his dogs." | |

| I read those "What so-and-so says" in the early Heaven's Metal magazines... most are "nice" about questions about Christianity and Christ.. some are harsh. Today I read the one with the band "Type O Negative" - man that dude HATES Christianity and all it stands for... whew ! He spews some pretty hardcore stuff against Christ and says: "I will not live again after I die. I am here right now. I am a collection of cells, held together by electronic bonds, and that is it. Nothing more, nothing less. I am 200 pounds of meat in motion"Wow ! Bummer. | |

Wow ! Bummer. And sadly now he is dead. Hope he had a "come to Jesus" moment before he passed. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Whoa, didn't know that.
Hey Stay - did you know Doug Van Pelt did a "What Queensryche Says" ?
Haven't read it yet... don't know what they said back then, but I've heard that one or more of the band members have a Christian faith today. Should be an interesting read.

Ummmmm not sure I wanna see that. I know the old singer wasn't very keen on Christians and conservative government....but they fired him. The new singer is a fan/friend of Michael Sweet! _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Wow ! Bummer. And sadly now he is dead. Hope he had a "come to Jesus" moment before he passed. Are you talking about Peter Steele? I read he was converted before he died... In April 2007, Steele revealed that he began identifying himself as Roman Catholic in recent years, after decades of self-professed atheism. [16] In an interview with Decibel magazine, Steele explained: - Quote :
- "There are no atheists in foxholes, they say, and I was a foxhole atheist for a long time. But after going through a midlife crisis and having many things change very quickly, it made me realize my mortality. And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what's after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it's a frightening thought to go nowhere. I also can't believe that people like Stalin and Hitler are gonna go to the same place as Mother Teresa."[52]
