Hopefully, they'll be able to figure out what's going on.

I did the sleep study, and they told me what I already knew: that I have sleep apnea. The main reason for the study was to determine how bad, and to verify it was bad enough to recommend a CPAP machine. The recommendation was to bring the insurance on board, which is laughable because I have the high deductible ($3600) plan that allows me to have a Health Savings Account, so essentially it all came out of my pocket anyways ... and still is. The crazy part is that I still don't get a whole night's sleep because the blasted mask and hose wake me up. Apparently I sleep better in-between now though.

Are you going back after you have your little bundle of joy, or are you going to stay home for a while? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

I am planning on staying home for a while. We are taking a bit of a step in faith & praying the Lord blesses & provides. It is kinda scary actually. How did your sleep study go?

Now that you mention it....exhausting, found it a little difficult to sleep all night in a strange bed being monitored by cameras with a dozen+ wires attached to me and an artificial elephant nose strapped to my face (won't know the results for a few weeks). For those of you young and healthy on this board take some advice from me (and the other older rockers).....don't get old _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Yeah, I took those for a while. I think it accelerated aging. I used to be 18 and will soon turn 45. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I hate funerals. Hope it goes well and many turn out for your friend. Sucks to lose a friend at such a young age.

| Huge turnout, church was close to packed. My dad came with me, since he taught the guy a few classes in high school. A lot of my friends were there, but it was no time for pleasantries - we were mostly quiet when we exited the church. The eulogies, offered by the guy's family, were very good, though. | |

I'm sorry. Was this a close friend? Not exactly close (he was a lot closer to many other people), but he sat one seat to the left and one seat to the front of me in calculus, so we chatted once in a while. He was a born comedian. Just about everyone he knew loved him.

| Just think Staybrite, thousands of people have to sleep with a huge gadget on their face every night. I know a lot of people using C-PAP machines to sleep.... I don't know how they do it. | |

I know how they do it, they are all desperate for a decent nights sleep and will do almost anything to get it! It was really awkward but the nurse/technician who was working with me is a large guy who has been on a c-pap machine for a number of years, and he told me that you get used to it pretty quick. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | My wife has a C-PAP as well. What they need to make is a machine that would just basically be the head piece that had a blower attached directly while being lightweight. That way you don't need the tubing.
