Rewatced Rock Star last night...not as good as I remembered it. It has a really dumb ending.

I am now finished with "Gotham" season 1.

Caught most of the classic John Hughes film "16 Candles" last night...wow is that ever one "dated" movie.

^It's cute though. I think just how 80s/dated those movies are add to the charm.
Best 80s teenage flick is definitely Heathers though.

Give it time. Someone will remake it.

My daughter seems to think that someone already has remade it. But I can't find anything on the internet to support that. If they did remake it was probably be just as horrible as the Footloose remake.
I did find this interesting quick triva "article" though.

Now Heathers was a wild teenage flick (and rather dark and unique for the time as well). I rewatched it a few years back and got a big kick out of Christian Slater’s blatant copying of Jack Nicholson. I still don't understand what all the fuss was about Wynonna Rider though, people just seemed to rave about her and I didn't think she was any better than most other actresses.

Yeah, I agree I think Winona is very pretty even today!
But did you know she is naturally a blonde? She looks better with dark hair, maybe because that is what I am used to. She has a show on Netflix, I have no idea what it is about, have never seen it. It's called "Stranger Things" and set in 1980.... Not sure if it is on Netflix yet or not but might check it out.
Currently watching LONGMIRE on Netflix, that show is awesome. Kind of reminds me of Law & Order but with cowboys.

Here's another one I am looking forward to, and it might even revoke my metal card (why I don't know but I can't imagine too many metalheads enjoying this show):

I'm glad Netflix picked it up! When it was on A&E people at work raved about it. Then it got cancelled and I thought i missed it. Then my boss mentioned it was on Netflix and even had a new season. I just finished episode 2 of season 3. So I still have this season and the 4th to go and i read where Netflix will do season 5! I'm just disappointed in 10 episodes, would love about 15-20 each season!
