| Somebody tried to show me it one time and I got really confused, but I don't think they knew what they were doing. But if you were really into it, I'm sure it'd be fun. | |

| Hey Noah, good to see you here again. I've never been geocaching myself, but I have heard my sister-in-law talk about it incessantly (but she does that with everything). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I hid my tenth today. The spider I had the picutres of is now in place and soon to be active. I can't wait to read the stories. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I hid two more today. One I hid near the church where my wife and I got married in honor of our 22nd anniversary coming up on Thursday, June 24.
I went out with Sabidoo again today, and I was able to add 17 more finds to my list. 300 finds is looming ever closer! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| My newest hide is actually a virtual cache. There is a Veteran's Memorial Monument in Norene close to my church. The people will have to find the memorial and answer 3 questions based on that marker. Not hard to do if you really find it.

| Went out with one of my caching partners yesterday and reached 316 finds. I now have my first "First To Find" as well. An FTF is when you are the first to discover a new geocache. I tried for two others but did not succeed.

| It can be anything from a large box down to a tiny tube called a micro. The larger boxes will have some cheap little prizes you can take. But, if you take a prize, you must leave something of equal or greater value for the next person to find. It keeps the game going.
When you go cache hunting, you must find the cache and sign the log (a notebook inside or a small scroll) before you can claim that you found it. If you are unable to find a cache, you can log it as a DNF (did not find) and some of the people will give you a hint.

| Vonnie, I know you have signed up for an account at www.geocaching.com. You should get on and search for caches within your postal code. You will have to download a small program from Garmin to make your GPS talk to your computer, but you can download those caches directly into your unit. Look for some easy ones first (Difficulty: 1 to 2 Terrian: 1 to 3). Then get out there and start hunting!

I wonder how many I can get today.....

| I went out today with my partner Tyler, and we bagged another 17 finds. That takes me to 334. I need 116 more for my new goal of 500 in the first year.

| Now I only hope the plant where you have worked for so long is not a chace. It will be strange to be there after almost one year and a half.
I logged in on the geocache website, but have problems to find the link you need to download so the GPS can talk to my computer.

| Try to load a nearby cache into your GPS. It will tell you that you need a particular program from Garmin and should take you to the download page on the www.garmin.com website.

| I think the same. What's giving you more fun? To find caches or to hide them? Can you ever figure out when people have found the caches you've hidden?
When you go geacaching for the first time, what you really have to take with you? When you have found caches, you have to tell that on www.geocaching.com?

| I enjoy both hiding and finding. I think I like finding more, though.
I always know when someone finds my caches. You get an e-mail when someone logs that they find your cache. When you find a cache, you have to log it on www.geocaching.com in order to get credit for finding something.
What do you need for your first cache? Well, it really depends on what you start to look for. Are you going in the woods? If you are, take some bug spray and a walking stick to check for snakes before you look under rocks and fallen tree limbs. Are you going after micros in the city? Then you will need a pen, and possible some tweezers to get the little log out of those small caches. What do you need the most? Your GPS, of course! Also, any information from the cache page will help you find the cache as well, so a small notebook does come in handy.
