| Did anyone take part in Bride's fan financing? Have you heard any of the early mixes of the new songs? Is there a release date set yet?
I've thought about doing this now that I know that Retroactive has picked up the album. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I'm really thinking about doing this as well. I have a feeling dishing out the $20 early might be worth some long overdue new Bride songs. | |

| I went ahead and did the fan-financed as my curiosity got the best of me. I am listening to a new song called "Downward" right now. It is a slower song, but it is a heavy slow song with a modern feel during the choruses. The verses, though, feel more like some of the tracks on "Drop". There are two videos on the Bride "secret site" of the guys in the studio. Those songs sound very much like the "Skin For Skin" release.
So, musically this is gonna rip your face off. The band is no longer saying, as in times past, that this COULD be the final project. As of now they are definitely saying it WILL be the final project.

| Sounds interesting. The last Bride CD. I always have been a Bride fan and still listen to their CDs. I hope this last Bride CD will be a killer with honest lyrics and killer music. | |

| I haven't taken part in this, but I will be buying it when it finally arrives in the shops. I pretty much like everything that Bride has done, but my least favourite is probably The Jesus Experience. Still if it turns out to be The Jesus Experience 2 (which it sounds like it's not according to those who have heard the tracks) then I'll still be happy with my complete Bride collection.

| I love "The Jesus Experience". While it's not my favorite, what you hear is Bride going alternative while still maintaining their signature sound. If you really listen to this, it is a logical step for the band after making "Drop". The only problem with "Drop" or "The Jesus Experience" is the lack of really good lead guitar. With that, these two discs would have been even stronger than they already are.
With a couple of the tracks of Bride's new stuff, though, there are some J.E. moments as well. I think you'll hear bits and pieces of everything Bride has done as far as style goes.

| There are samples and video--for those of us who have done the pre-order/fan financed deal. There is a link that we can go to in order to see their progress, but I don't think that they want that given out to just anyone. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Neither did I. I know Bride are still Christian, but I...I'm just not convinced of Dale's UR beliefs. Please understand, I am NOT trying to start an arguement/debate, I'm sharing... By the way, I am curious: how "open" is Dale, lyrically, with his UR beliefs? Thank you. |

| It'll be interesting to hear if they've done an album with lots of different styles from all their previous albums. I didn't like Drop when it first came out, and also for the next 4 or 5 years, but now I do listen to some of the tracks on it and do quite like them. I'm just pleased they've done as many albums as they have. Imagine if they'd only have done 2! There'd be no Silence Is Madness, no Snakes In The Playground and no Oddities!!!! - Tonight, Bride came together for maybe the last time to rehearse the final
two songs for the new CD. It was a very casual atmosphere as we went over the songs "Separate" and "When I was a kid." Some of you may remember the song "When I was a kid" from our demo work early on. We thought the song was good but never could find the right CD to put it on. After a few changes I think we have the perfect fit. We did shoot some video tonight of the rehearsal and antics that take place during such a writing session. Hopefully there will be usable footage we can share later. Please keep the band lifted up as we re-enter the studio on the 10th and 11th to finish the CD.

| I understand only the paying fans get the link to listen to some of the new Bride songs. I'll wait till they give samples to listen for the not paying fans.
I think "Snakes In The Playground" was the best Bride ever.
Ty we understand what you mean.
