| Been going through some of Brides older stuff recently (including Matrix) and the power of Dales vocals is incredible. Some of the tracks are really catchy too. Missing Children is a great track.
I added lots of their songs into one playlist at work and then put some of the really old stuff (1986/7/8/9) with Skin For Skin. You can really notice a difference in vocals, in that Dale has dropped to a lower register - but his power is still there by the bucket load!
Silence Is Madness is still my favourite Bride album, but Show No Mercy is getting alot of playtime on my computer at present!
Ok, here's the charts.........
01 - 10.0/10 Silence Is Madness 02 - 09.5/10 Live To Die 03 - 09.5/10 Snakes In The Playground 04 - 09.0/10 Show No Mercy 05 - 08.5/10 Oddities 06 - 08.5/10 Skin For Skin 07 - 08.5/10 Scarecrow Messiah 08 - 08.0/10 This Is It 09 - 08.0/10 Kinetic Faith 10 - 07.5/10 Fistful Of Bees 11 - 07.0/10 Drop 12 - 06.0/10 The Jesus Experience
BEST MUSIC - Silence Is Madness BEST LYRICS - Oddities BEST CONSITENCY - Live To Die BEST WORLD WIDE APPEAL - Snakes In The Playground

| If I were to rank them, these would be my #1 and #2 choices: 1. Snakes In The Playground 2. Scarecrow Messiah _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I just played Show No Mercy the other day, and you're right about Missing Children. In fact, I'd say the bonus tracks that were included in that re-release are better than most of the actual released album. The whole collection rocks, though! I think Dale's vocals hit their peak on Snakes, however. That's not my favorite Bride album, but I think its his best vocally. | |

| #1 Snakes #2 Fist Full Of Bees
(I know, how about that? I'll bet no one else ranks Fist Full that highly.)

| I'd rank it a lot higher than some of their others, DH. I am in the minority, but I did not much care for their first 2 CDs. I have them mostly for the collectibility. Someday, I might part with them to make space for something I'll actually listen to. "Fistfull of Bees" is a keeper! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| It's a good album. What's up with the artwork though? Skin For Skin is much better (imo) than anything they've done since Snakes (with the possible exception of Oddities - being excellent in the lyric department) Fundy _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| Fist Full Of Bees is a memory trap for me, too. My brother-in-law and I drove to and from California to hit a couple amusement parks, and on the way back we stopped for food somewhere off the freeway. I noticed a Christian bookstore outlet, a small little shop, stopped in and found a bunch of clearance CDs. Picked up that disc for about $3. Funny thing is I didn't play it for about a year, it just sat there. Not even sure why. When I finally played it the thing just jumped out at me. Been a favorite ever since.
Oh, and Fundy, I agree about the art.

| Oh, no one will sit there and listen to it with me. My wife doesn't like metal at all. But that's okay. I love solitude. | |

| My wife has learned over the years that I will turn down my music for her, but I won't turn it off unless she has a headache. I do, though, try to take some stuff to listen to that she likes or will at least tolerate. I never get to listen to Disciple with Holly in the car.

| Most of the time I listen to my cool rock music when I'm home alone. Then no one can turn the button of the CD player off, or give my cordless headphone. The problem is the car my husband loves it to listen to sport on the radio, while I love it to listen to a cool Cd. The solution is the way there I can listen to a CD and the way back I have to listen to sport.
That's what I often do take stuff with me my husband likes too.
Sometimes I'm a teaser and play the most hard music I have. yep, that are the Disciple CDs I have.
