What do you get when you take a blues-influenced hard rock band and take away the amps?
BLOOOOOOZ Baby!
While this is not the Rez band I grew up with, any more than Lament was, it is a much better alternative. In my opinion they really went out on top, taking their old songs and redoing them, not just as acoustics but as full blown flat out blues tunes! And as such this album is also an excellent precursor to Glenn's solo work and his GKB releases.
Did I mention that this is blues album!? LOL! If you don't like unplugged, unabashed blues, then steer clear of this project.
Favorite tune! Aarrrggh! I can't name just one; they are all awesome, even the once-hard rockers! OK, Broken Promises it is. Of course that's fitting as that is also my favorite song on Rainbow's End, which happens to be my favorite Rez album!

I'm not a huge fan of the blues but I do like acoustic music so I am torn about even getting this album. It's likely I will pick it up someday, but I just don't have it yet.
I have to confess this does sound very cool.

One of my most favorite all time UNplugged albums. It was an ingenious way to bow out after an electrifying era.
