Are you gearing up for the new Planet Of The Apes reboot/sequel flick?

I had completely forgotten about the new movie. Yes, I am looking forward to it but no, I wasn’t thinking of it. I was just in the mood. Maybe subconsciously I thought about it.

Civil War
Pretty good, quite graphic and too much swearing, but still rather thought provoking.
This week we're seeing... The Fall Guy

The Fall Guy.
Some of it was quite funny, but ultimately I found it a bit souless. Not sure why, maybe it just didn't live up to the trailer.

Never Seen Again on Paramount+. Basically it’s a spin on Unsolved Mysteries about missing people. Some stories are more interesting than others. I am not sure if any have been resolved. I believe there are several seasons and I am currently on season 2.

No interest in this movie but I’d like to be able to see the tv show again. Not sure if it holds up or not but if I happened to see it I would try and watch.

The dry witted butler who is more intelligent then the family that he serves. That was a good show.

We're still on the first season and it's been pretty funny. I only watched a handful of episodes when it first aired. It's been nice to watch a sitcom that is actually funny.

My wife has me watching this documentary series "The Curious Case of Natalia Grace". Odd documentary series about a mid-west family that adopted a girl with a debilitating version of dwarfism and the terrible shenanigans they went through trying to rid of themselves of her. Terribly sad (and kind of disgusting) account that should have netted both adoptive parents in jail for at least a few years.

I got to watch a number of movies over the last week!
1917 (2019) - Incredibly good British film taking place in WW1. I really liked it. Kind of violent though for those that might be squeamish about that stuff.
Outlander (2008) with Jim Caviezel. Better than I was expecting, especially given the "space warrior meets Iron Age Vikings" setting for the film. Another film loosely based on the Beowulf legend (like The 13th Warrior or Beowulf (1999 & 2007) films.
Inside Out 2 (2024) All the emotions return just in time to watch their "girl" hit puberty! I was surprised to find this Pixar film quite entertaining. I also didn't notice any real "wokeness" issues that have plagued Disney for the last decade... maybe they are finally getting that people don't want that nonsense in a kids film.

Glad to hear it! We really enjoyed Inside Out and were hoping that they didn't ruin #2.

Oh yeah, I thought the first one was fantastic as well. And maybe I'm just getting bad at catching that "not so hidden agenda" kind of stuff, but I was watching for it and didn't really notice anything horrible.

I saw that first Code 8 film a year or so ago and for the life of me cannot remember how it ended. I might need to rewatch the last 20 minutes before I watch the second film.

I went to the gym with my wife today and she likes to do cardio in this theater room. So while cycling for 30 minutes I watched a chunk of "The Fate Of The Furious (or Fast and Furious ". It was hilarious, but I don't think it was supposed to be a comedy.
