New Fear Not track finally released for listening today. It looks like the pre-orders are up at Roxx Records and the disc is expected to release July 8th. The new track sounds like it would have right at home on the last EP! So I am digging it.

Well I hate to say it but so far I am not impressed with either single.

I liked the first single, and I even like the words to this one. But, nothing about the instrumentation or the singing grabs me on this one.
If there is just one skip track on the album, I'll still be happy with the album.

Yeah, that second track didn't move me musically, but like Alldat said the lyrics are great. I can't imagine the album not have at least 6 or 7 good hard rockers though.

I am using the Shop app and you can track all of your Roxx purchases through them. This is supposed to be arriving today.

I listened to this yesterday and I am more than pleasantly pleased! This feels like Fear Not even if it sounds a lite different. This is an awesome slab of metal infused with a little blues and alternative sounds, too. This could be my album for the year.

I fished mine out of the mail this morning but still haven't manage to listen to it yet. Your glowing review has me excited to hear it though.

Jamming it now. Me likey.
Although I could live without the harsh vocals. They just don’t seem to fit that well IMHBAO.

The harsh vocals give the album a strong, bluesy vibe...something I haven't heard in a while.

They sound too metalcore to me, rather than bluesy.

A good album overall, with a good blend of classic and modern sounds. The first half seems stronger than the second to me.
One final note: what is up with God’s Country? It’s like hard rocking bro country. It makes me think of a Florida Georgia Line with talent.

Apparently it’s a Blake Shelton song. Since I jump off the country bandwagon around the turn of the millennium, I did not know that. But it makes sense.

Album gets a thumbs up from me, very well done! Very impressive how well they fused their classic sound with a modern rock feel. I'm not crazy about modern rock, but they pull it off so well, it works great for them. The more I listen to it the more I love it

I hear the modern rock sounds, but the album comes off as a really thick southern rock record with their classic sound and maybe some of Chris's Gov't. Mule sound mixed in a downtuned way.
Regardless of what is in the mix, this thing smokes!

What is it you don't like about it? Is it the songs? The new vocalist?

IMHBAO, these guys have actually done a remarkable job in blending classic and modern sounds with a big helping of southern rock. While it’s not my favorite thing this year, it’s a very good effort.
