Ok, so ishmael81's avatar has me interested… what style of music is the album? Any links to some songs from it?

Great pick, man. also listen to Mr. Compromise and Give It Up, if you can. Oh and Money Money.
Really, the whole album is great, assuming you can get your hands on it...

Pretty cool, reminds me a bit of Bride, especially the newer albums like Tsar Bomba and Skin For Skin.
I think I've seen it on places like ChristianRockShop.com…

It definately has the 80's radio-friendly metal kind of sound. Great album, but yes it can be rather difficult to find on CD

Fear Not is a hardrockband from the 90's. In my opinion a great band. Mr. Compromise, is a great song. the only complaion about Fear Not is they only released one album.

That would be my only complaint too.

I also have a cassett of their first album, before they were Fear Not. They were called Love Life and the tape is Goodbye Lady Jane. It sounds very similiar but the lyrics aren't "Christian" per se.

These guys sounded so much like Skid Row and Slaughter to me. I loved the disc when it released and still do.

That's part of why I like them. Back in my youth, I listened to a lot of SKid Row. Now, I have to be careful about what secular metal I listen to and Fear Not is a good alternative to that style.

Always loved that band have it both on vinyl and CD. Typical slick Pakaderm killer production and one of my favorite CD's of that era. If you like this band you also need to check out Lovewar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYXX79Rk374 and 20/20 Blind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0rdH8IUiOg !

An absolute gem of an album. No complaints from me. Being a ballad guy, Til The End Of My Days is a great one.

Fear Not also released an album on the Blonde Vinyl label under the band name "Love Life" and the album title was "Goodbye Lady Jane". Musically it is very similar, but the sound quality is terrible. Production on Blonde Vinyl was subpar. I would love to hear a proper remastering of "Goodbye Lady Jane". I have long hoped that Cliffy would remaster that one.

Cliffy has been asked and he has said that he will not do the Love Life CD as he was not a fan of it.

Fear Not was given to me about a year ago by a friend I lost touch with for about 10 years. I had never heard it and he assured me I would love it. After listening to it I told him it was one of the best bands I had never heard! Then I discovered how hard it was to find and very thankful he gave me a copy. Still listen to it a lot now.
