| Was listening on MySpace to Barren Cross songs. Barren Cross sounds vet gaaf, yep really. Now I wonder what your thoughts are about Barren Cross.
I think Barren Cross belongs to the cool-ection of late classic rock bands. Reading the discography of Barren Cross there's one thing I don't understand. "Rock For The King" is realeased in 1986 as EP and one year later as LP. Are the songs of the EP on the LP too and the EP and LP were really vinyls? The first Barren Cross EP "Believer" was released in 1984. "Believe" is a collector's item.
Is there a Barren Cross fan here who has listened to "Believe" or to "Rock For The King"? Yep .... then tell us how the early Barren Cross sounds.
Now vote for your favorite Barren Cross. | |

| Yes a Vet Gaaf band indeed! I have a copy of "Rock for the King" on cassette. To my ears it sounds very much like Atomic Arena, only not quite as good with regards to performance or song writing (still not bad at all). I would love to have a copy of it on cd, but have not seen it for less than $50. I have never heard anything from their Believe EP. But I would be willing to give my opinion of someone wants to send me a copy. BTW my vote went for "State of Control" _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Atomic Arena was the one for me, but they're all great albums. And Rattle Your Cage was pretty much an amazing album for the time (in the mid nineties there were hardly any decent metal albums coming out, and lots of long running bands had started to drift away from their original sound, heading towards grunge and stuff I wasn't too keen on)

| Rock for the King is a great disc. You can usually find one on ebay for less than $20. I voted for Atomic Arena, I like State of Control but its a tad too polished for me. | |

| I have Believe on cassette and transferred it to cdr too. It is good but I voted for State of Control. This to me is the most maiden-esque moment. I think they were out of sight on this release.. Alex | |

| Gotta go with "State Of Control". _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I did not vote. Rock For King is definately my favorite but not included on the list. If you dont have RFTK get it, even if you have to settle for a cheap cassette copy! | |
