| What are your favorite albums from 1988, regardless of genre? Following are a few of mine:
1. Sacred Warrior - "Rebellion" 2. Joshua - "Intense Defense" 3. Saint - "Too Late For Living" 4. Barren Cross - "Atomic Arena" 5. Kings' X - "Out Of The Silent Planet"
Honorable mentions: Bloodgood ("Rock In A Hard Place"), Bride ("Live To Die"), Jerusalem ("Dancing On The Head Of The Serpent"), Neon Cross ("Neon Cross") & Rez ("Silence Screams"
Any notable albums that I have overlooked or missed?

| Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son was released in 1988. I don't own any Christian metal from that year though. | |

I am at work on an article outlining the top 15 albums from 1988 and wanted to get the input/opinion of as many people as possible, I do not want to overlook anything. Ruscha - Come Alive is a good call- did not even think of them when putting together the initial list. The Enigma packaging states "Atomic Arena" is 1988.

| Do you have a full list from that year? Without going through my collection to see what I have, I can't even remember the years anymore. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Since I assume you mean Christian, the only one I can recall playing on the radio in 88 was Gargoyle - s/t (and I didn't know they were Christian at the time). Cool fact: the 3-song radio EP for this album is the ONLY vinyl I still have. All my other vinyl wasn't Christian and was sold. Well, Rez Band's Bootleg was also Christian it turned out, but I didn't care for it (not a fan of live albums to begin with).
If we're including what I know of now, Barren Cross, Neon Cross, Sacred Warrior and Whitecross would be my picks for 88 releases. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
