| So I was reading an article about Kurt Cobain's 50 favorite albums. Interesting read (to me, I'm sure most of you aren't Nirvana fans... ) Anyway, I thought it would be fun for us to do our 50 favorites. I'm working on my list now but if you have yours done, feel free to post and we can discuss the lists. | |

| I'm not a massive Nirvana fan, but I am a big fan of most of the music coming out of Seattle at the same time as Nirvana. I would be interested in seeing the article, do you have a link? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I would have a hard enough time making my favorite list of 20. My favorites change depending on the mood that I'm in right then. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Okay well... since several of you guys have complained in some way, nevermind. I understand that favorites change often and it may be a challenge to come up with 50 (or to choose only 50)...
Sorry I brought it up. I thought it may be a fun discussion.

| It's not a bad idea, just very hard to come up with quickly for most. I certainly have no idea (or the time now).
But I can do a few of the top ones that I know I've mentioned before: Theocracy (all 3) Kutless debut Knoteye GS Megaphone debut Place of Skulls Love Through Blood and As a Dog Returns Red Sea _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

It was tough for me to decide which Jorn Album..I love them all and his cover album (unlocking the Past) is fantastic... A Band that would have filled in slots 51 to 53 would be thin Lizzy |

| Most of my stuff is going to be secular even though secular music is less than half of my collection. The reason is because I usually have to live with an album for several years before it becomes a "favorite" and I've only been listening to Christian artists for the last 9-10 years. (In alphabetical order)
1. Accept – Restless & Wild 2. Alice In Chains – Dirt 3. Asia – Asia 4. Asia - Aria 5. Barren Cross – State of Control 6. Bloodgood – Dangerously Close 7. Culprit – Guilty As Charged 8. The Cult – Sonic Temple 9. Day of Fire – Day of Fire 10. Die Happy – Volume II 11. Dokken – Under Lock & Key 12. Doro – Love Me In Black 13. Doro – Fight 14. Fastway – Fastway 15. Fifth Angel – Fifth Angel 16. Gary Moore – Victims of the Future 17. Gary Moore – Run for Cover 18. Giant – Last of the Runaways 19. Guardian – Fire & Love 20. Heart – Heart 21. Heart – Bad Animals 22. Journey – Escape 23. Journey – Frontiers 24. Judas Priest – Point of Entry 25. Judas Priest – Screaming for Vengeance 26. King Kobra – Ready to Strike 27. Liberty N Justice – Soundtrack of a Soul 28. Live – Throwing Copper 29. My Sister’s Machine – Diva 30. P.K. Mitchell – All Hail the Power 31. Pearl Jam – Ten 32. Perennial – You’re the Ones (EP) 33. Place of Skulls – The Black is Never Far 34. The Posies – Dear 23 35. Q5 – Steal the Light 36. Queensryche – Warning 37. Queensryche – Rage for Order 38. Red Sea - Blood 39. Rez – Civil Rites 40. Riot – Born in America 41. Rob Rock – Rage of Creation 42. Rose – Healing 43. Sacred Warrior – Obsessions 44. Saint – In the Battle 45. Scorpions – Love at First Sting 46. Screaming Trees – Sweet Oblivion 47. Stryper – Soldiers Under Command 48. Temple of the Dog – Temple of the Dog 49. Triumph Never Surrender

| So here are mine, more or less in order. You'll see lots of repeats as I'd rather listen to several bands affiliated with one artist (Reese - FIF, BS2, Guerilla Rodeo, Roper; Mark Salomon - Crucified, Stavesacre, Neon Horse, White Lighter; Michael Knott - solo, LSU, Aunt Betty's). Plus I try to not buy anything unless I really really like it.
50. My Red Hot Nightmare – Demos 2004 – 2006 49. John Mark McMillan – The Medicine 48. Ethan Luck – Hard Seas 47. John Mark McMillan – The Song Inside the Sounds of Breaking Down 46. Various - Pulp Fiction Soundtrack 45. Various – O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack 44. The Clash – The Clash 43. Miles Davis – Kind of Blue 42. Nirvana – Nevermind 41. Brad Paisley – Time Well Wasted 40. Aunt Betty’s – Aunt Betty’s 39. Roper – Brace Yourself for the Mediocre 38. Johnny Cash – American Recordings 37. Bob Marley – Legend 36. Ramones – Rocket to Russia 35. Ramones – Leave Home 34. Boston – Boston 33. Ramones – Ramones 32. Guerilla Rodeo – Guerilla Rodeo 31. LSU – Shaded Pain 30. Johnny Cash – At San Quentin 29. Brad Paisley – Part II 28. Five Iron Frenzy – The End Is Here 27. Outer Circle – Outer Circle 26. Michael Knott – Rocket and a Bomb 25. Nirvana – In Utero 24. Brave Saint Saturn – So Far From Home 23. Stavesacre – Speakeasy 22. The Crucified – The Pillars of Humanity 21. Michael Knott – Live in Nash-Vegas 20. The Clash – London Calling 19. Michael Knott – Fluid 18. Michael Knott – Screaming Brittle Siren 17. Stavesacre – Bull takes Fighter 16. Brave Saint Saturn – The Light of Things to Come 15. White Lighter – White Lighter 14. Stavesacre – Friction 13. Neon Horse – Neon Horse 12. Johnny Cash – At Folsom Prison 11. Brad Paisley – Mud on the Tires 10. LSU – Grace Shaker 9. Stavesacre – Absolutes 8. Five Iron Frenzy – All the Hype That Money Can Buy 7. The Clash – Combat Rock
6. Five Iron Frenzy – Engine of a Million Plots 5. The Crucified – The Crucified 4. Brave Saint Saturn – Anti-Meridian
3. LSU – Grape Prophet 2. Neon Horse – Haunted Horse: Songs of Love, Defiance and Delusion 1. Five Iron Frenzy – 2: Electric Boogaloo

42. Nirvana – Nevermind 25. Nirvana – In Utero Have you ever heard Nirvana's "Bleach" album. I only mention it because of the half-dozen or so Nirvana fans that I know locally (here is the Pacific NW where the band was from), most seem to prefer it slightly over Nevermind. It is a bit rawer (and more tongue-in-cheek lyrically), than much of their later albums. Worth looking into if you have never heard it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive..........
