| I have mastered a few balloon animals: worm, snake, eel.... Ok, so I've never actually made one, but I have put one back together that came untwisted.

| Me neither. I'm not a fan of ginger ale or 7up or Sprite or Coke or Pepsi or Fanta or Rootbeer or L&P or Lift or Mountain Dew (bleh, bleh, bleh) or that pink one (something cream) or Dr Awful Pepper...but I love gingerbeer and I love tonic water.

| I like online shopping but have gotten rather hermit like when it comes to real shopping--especially during this holiday season. The stores are too busy, people don't care about others so they will literally hit someone with a cart and not apologize, and the clerks are overworked and stressed out so that they come off more as mean than helpful. Bah, humbug!!!

| I've never been in any plays. When I was a lil guy, I had a deathly fear of being before people on a stage. When I was a bit older and less self conscious, I never had the opportunity. But my son had been in multiple big time plays, some with leading roles - quite proud of him

Me either. I've never even been to Vegas, although it's possible I'll go next year since the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion conference is at the Tropicana in Las Vegas next year. I'm predicting the highest number of conference registrations combined with the lowest session attendance ever.

I've been to Vegas a couple times and was pretty unimpressed. My friend and I wandered the main drag looking for somewhere fun to go but ended up just doing a lot of wandering... Unless you're into gambling, trashy/pretentious dance clubs, and exorbitantly expensive food/drinks, it didn't seem like there was much else. We also got "hit on" (I don't know what the proper term would be?) by a couple of prostitutes. Don't bring your family because there are pornographic prostitute "trading cards" being handed out on every corner and littered all over the sidewalks. That being said, from what I hear, there is a TON of other cool stuff you can do there, but you need to plan ahead and really do your research - which we didn't do. We were in the nearby town of Pahrump for defensive firearms training* so we just visited Vegas one evening to see what it was all about. If you end up going for the conference and if you want to explore the city, I'd recommend doing your research first so you don't end up wandering around like my friend and I have done haha! *through Front Sight, where my wife and I are planning on going early next month to take the four-day defensive handgun course together.

Never have I ever consumed Red Bull. Nor have I. I haven't consumed any energy drinks either. If I were to be in a situation where I actually needed one, I'd have to reevaluate what's going on in my life. So far, I've made it with tea instead of coffee and Mountain Dew (at worst) instead of energy drinks. Never have I ever frozen my tongue to a metal pole in winter. | Doing the flagpole Schwartz thing from Christmas Story looks scary and painful... no thanks... but I have had my tongue stuck to a piece of ice from a drink Been to Vegas a few times, many just to fly out of Vegas. The times we did stay for fun, we usually don't go to shows, 'cept for a concert or two. I use to be addicted to Red Bull... BAD idea ! I drank 1 to 2 per day - at 4 bucks a pop, it wasn't just the price that was BAD. I started having bad palpatations, feeling sick to my stomach, and perpetuating the "I feel so lethargic, so I need another one" habit. AVOID those things like cancer ! Never have I ever missed one episode of Big Bang Theory (which, by the way, had an episode where they played this very game. Only they played it as a drinking game )

| Never have I ever seen the Big Bang Theory. Never heard of it actually. If you've never missed one, I'm thinking it must be good. Might just look it up. Never have I ever caught a fish with a spear. Tried many times through the ice of Minnesota but the refraction of the water got me every time. I'd be a complete failure as a primitive person...my family would starve | |

County coroners are voted in? Hmm. Didn't know that. Here the jobs are advertised and applied for like any normal job. It's only lawyers that can apply though.

| I have never tried a Heineken and never will. Beer is the most vile tasting liquid that I ever tasted. Even when I did drink many years ago, beer wasn't it as it just tastes horrible. I don't see how anyone drinks it or even savors it.

Never have I ever tried a Heineken It's scary in here. See, now I'm imaging a TV series about a newt who is a coroner. I picked coroner because it is one of the most absurd elected positions we have around here. Why are we voting for the person who officially declares how a person dies??? And why is it a partisan position? It isn't like there are policies or legislation they get to enact. Who goes into the voting booth and thinks, "I trust a (insert party affiliation) to discover how a person died more than a (insert other party affiliation)"?

| I have never jumped off a bridge. I hid inside one once when I was playing on a railroad bridge as a kid with this girl I was sweet on at the time. We didn't hear the train coming around the bend. There were some rectangular open spaces in the bridge where some sort of beam once sat. We scurried into one on each side and hunkered down while the train literally ran over us. It was terrifying. Needless to say, we didn't really hang out together after that. I guess the relationship was just too dangerous. LOL

Ha! When you put it that way it seems ridiculous. Got me some giggles reading that, mess. Interesting that it's not the same across the board. I guess some counties haven't updated some of their weirder laws. It's probably a lay over from a time when being the coroner was a job everyone would want (guaranteed work, good pay, not a lot to it...yup, he's dead by gunshot partner) so they gave it to the popular guy. I've never jumped off a bridge either though I once climbed the Auckland Harbour Bridge. I was tethered to it of course. It be mighty windy up there. Gorgeous view. I've never sat in the Batmobile either though I once dated a boy who I think thought he was Batman, if his crazy driving was an indication (THAT didn't last long -- picture me gripping the seat in terror every time we drove somewhere weaving in and out of traffic. Terrifying). Never have I ever had a surprise party been thrown for me.

| I guess someone once threw a surprise party for me, but it wasn't much of a surprise for me. My second year at bible school, we took it in turns to organize a low-key birthday party for each one of us (there were like 8 of us). So I knew one was coming for me, and I could feel when it was coming. So it was a surprise party, but it wasn't a surprise. I guess. I haven't had a Heineken either. I love my beers strong and sweet. I agree in that if you are willing to 'step outside the box' a bit there is a lot of fun things to do in Vegas outside of going to shows, gambling, etc. As a matter of fact, I visited Vegas last weekend (only a three and a half hour drive from Phoenix) and went 'picking' instead. Vegas has by far the best outdoor flea market/swap meet in the Desert SW (Broadacres Marketplace) in addition to three 4 star antique malls. Add in quite a few smaller to mid-sized antique shops and countless thrift shops and Vegas is literally picking paradise. I like to refer to it as 'Pick City' as opposed to 'Sin City' instead. | |

We loved Vegas, or at least the parts we partook of. They still had Star Trek: The Experience there when we went. We loved the dancing fountains, the white tiger exhibit, the dolphins, the erupting volcano, and the pirate ship battle. We did our first Cirque de Solei show there. We went to the giant M&M store. We even took a bus tour of the Grand Canyon while that close. Sure. the night life was spiritually oppressive, but we still managed to have a great vacation that was PG. Even the food wasn't too badly priced if you looked around. Most of the casino/hotels have at least one restaurant that has a huge buffet that is pricey but better than most chain restaurants that do the same. Most of them had some sort of fast food place in them as well so you could eat on a budget if you so desired. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I stayed at a chain motel within walking distance of Sunset Station Casino. Several evenings I walked to the Casino for dinner and enjoyed the 'Feast Buffet', which is not all that different from Country Buffet, Golden Corral, etc. They also had a good Italian restaurant , a Seafood restaurant and several fast food places. The only thing bothersome about being at the casino was the secondhand smoke, but I did not spend a lot of time there either.
