I dusted this one off, remixed it (based on some feedback I received here on my mixing), and added a bit more guitar. I'm thinking that this stands alone as an instrumental but wondering if I should extend it, drop some solos, and add lyrics and vocals.

I like it. It's rare to find an instrumental that doesn't bore me to tears - this kept my attention. Lots of variety, melodic and the solos were tasteful and fit the song rather than wank-fests designed to let you play as many 128th notes as possible.
Keep it. IF you're thinking of putting it on the new project, I think it would fit as long as there's some kind of theme about it.

I love it. Unlike ishy, I love instrumentals, and have been known to make playlists consisting of various artists' instrumental songs (Impellitteri use to be good about have one on each release). One of my favorite ones is Mr. Scary from Dokken's Back for the Attack.

I am not big on instrumentals at all. I've even gotten rid of my Jeff Scheetz CDs because I never almost played them. I'd rather you extend it and give it vocals. It could have a cool creepy Alice Cooper vibe if done right.

Yes, you did better on the mix of this one.
I'm no longer a fan of instrumentals as a Christian, but they can have their place on an album.

I love instrumentals. This one is different than what I'm used to, ie Satriani, Scheetz, Palacios and the like. I'll have to give it a few more listens.

I love the panning effects at the beginning. The first 53 seconds or so would make an awesome intro to a song if you wanted to add vocals. I like the mix on it and think it works well as an instrumental.

Rocks !
I don't care much for albums of nothing but instrumentals, but I absolutely love me one thrown in on an album of singing (ie all the old VH albums, Whitecross, etc)

Thanks Guilty/Forgiven!
Thinking of renaming it "Escape Mortality" and sliding it into our album concept with a few tweaks.
