| My wife and I attended the Third Day show last night at Nashville's War Memorial auditorium. It is a beautiful music hall build many decades ago. Johnny Cash played there on several occasions when he was starting out.
My favorite part of the show was during the time they actually took requests. It was fun watching the guys squirm when a couple of non-hits were requested. They had to do the song "Tunnel" and they admitted that they had never done it live--only in the studio when they did that albums.
The opening act was Brandon Heath. His songs were okay, but a little too James Taylor-ish to me. I was there to see Third Day. This was my third time of seeing them. The last time was in 2010 at Winter Jam. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| It was a good show! They played for two hours. They did a lot of songs covering most of their albums. They've done so many that it is near impossible for them to play everyone's favorites.

| It's been a while since I saw Third Day live. Once was at their very beginning 'Gray Dot Records-era' and the 2nd time was during their Wire tour. | |

| The first time I saw them was during their "Come Together" tour.

| It's always a big? when you go to a show if they will play your favorite song. Two hours, that's long.

| I prefer them live to the studio stuff. Glad you had a good time. |

| I would agree on some of their studio stuff. However, on the albums I love, they pretty much sound the same on the record and live since they have two guitarists (one of which plays mandolin, banjo, and guitar), a bassist, drummer, and full time keyboard player.

| They're going to be here in May with Steven Curtis Chapman on the SCC3D tour. I might go see them then. | |
