That is a great track! Actually I love everything on this album except for the horrid rendition of "Silent Night". I am seriously thinking of replacing this track on the downloads with the same song from Helix or Cheap Trick.

Was trying to help my wife find some music for a video she is making and stumbled across this again. Looking for independent artists that won't get her video banned from youtube (like it did when she tried to use an AC/DC song).

Lordy lordy, it's been a while since I heard that tune. Love that you're still getting something from the album, SB. Always good to know your CD hasn't become a coaster on someone's coffee table. I'd really love to one day re-release Beyond the Gates with higher quality sound so it really would be a "face burner." We were really just getting started on our journey when we recorded that album. While the writing was sound, the production was a lot of "so what does this button do?"

You're too funny Jen, While the production isn't professional big-budget quality, it is more than sufficient and the music is very listenable. The talent of both musicians shines through.

Today's Face Burner comes from across the big pond. While they didn't do many albums, the few we have are awesome! If you don't have any Modest Attraction, you seriously should reconsider.....if you can still find the CDs.

I am just the opposite. I actually prefer the 2nd album. It was just different than everything else coming out at the time. Musically, the first is more metal, but the songwriting just didn't seem to be there to me.
