I'd never heard that tune, Pro-Zak. Cool. Thanks for sharing.

Hmm... Have never heard of these guys, does anyone know anything about them? They were on Intense Records.

Never heard of them. The chorus on the guitar on the first song will peel the paint off the wall. Wow!

I've had an MP3 bootleg of this for several years (got it from someone here). At one point I think this release was slated to be reissued by Retroactive or maybe even Roxx, but for some reason it never happened. Solid release for the time.

I remember them, a few good songs but quite a few clunkers on the album.

It would have been a good reissue that I would listen to from time to time. I don't see it being a big player unless they cleaned up the sound. Sadly, what Gary has is a tape to CD-R then ripped to MP3 or burned to another disc. The cassette wasn't in the best condition even though it came from Pastor Bob Beeman's private collection. I transferred this album, his Dynamo, Plain Clothes, and his Apostle releases that he had when I had my short lived radio show. The bootleg copy I now have on CD sounds like it was taken from my original transfers after it was passed around the internet a little in MP3. LOL

A different sort of face burner.

I think so. Keys and guitar in roughly equal proportion. Slick production. High vocals. I like this album, although I wish there were more hard rockers - they're certainly good at those.

I got sucked in by Breakaway and while the rest of the album is decent, initially I was mildly disappointed in the lack of harder rockers on it.

They do tend to be a bit tilted toward the lighter songs, but there's a lot of good rockin' stuff as well.

I don't find them to be like Prodigal that much. IC is more like the lighter side of pop metal while Prodigal is more keyboard driven. Prodigal is hard to pin down.

Yeah, I discovered Electric Eye through that video someone shared here about the BASIC program on the LP. Just What I Need is a fun satire while the title track feels ominous.

Ha! I remember Rob Lowe from SA describing their sound that way when they covered Dio's "Shame on the Night."

Here's one I doubt most of you have heard! This is Retrace from Sweden! The original demos can be be downloaded from Amazon. Their albums are titled "Retrace" and "Live!". The second one is not a live album, though.
