| Anyone ever hear of this band "Dead to Sin"? Self described influences Styx & Stryper. Staring the Bruce Menchen (brother of Bill Menchen) on vocals. - Quote :
- Dead To SIn was a band that had alot of fun. We did alot of shows. We were able to see people come to Christ thru the ministry. That is what its all about seeing more people comming to the knowledge Jesus Christ. So im doing this project to get the music out there in hopes the message will help somebody. Also the fact that I didnt want the music to be lost forever. Its been abit of a challange to remember everything. I spend my days at work going over lyrics and guitar riffs in my head. Please pray for the project and the music will reach even more people 18 years later. God bless you and thank you for your support and prayers. In Christ always ...
Check out the songs and even a few live videos (that are a little damaged) at their myspace site. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=119427179 _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Does this mean Dead To Sin are not together anymore? It's always cool to watch video's of a band. Dead To Sin sounds not bad.

| It looks as if the band is no longer together, and that someone (probably Bruce) is trying to rerecord (or remaster) the original recordings so they can be released. They have a very "dated" early 80's sound (not a bad thing necessarily IMO). But not likely a sound anyone would use today. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I thought that Bruce was Bill's cousin? I could be wrong. Bill and Bruce worked together on the orignal Rev Seven releases. If I am not mistaken, Bruce was handling the guitar leads. With the sound of Dead To Sin, I would not be surprised. I would love for Retroactive to reissue this! This is some great classic Christian metal that the world needs to hear. Until then, I'll probably record these four songs onto my computer. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| That's the idea I got too that this guys are not togheter anymore With the "dated early 80's" sound is nothing wrong. How about remix and release this band? I wonder how cool it will sound then? The videos rock so much.
That's my idea too to release this band.

Your probably right, I was just guessing about their relationship. If Retroactive puts this out, I will certainly pick up a copy. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
