| I can't remember if we have talked about this band before or not. Another one of those "back in the day bands" Very much an 80's hard rock band, this one features Bruce Menchen on vocals who (I believe) is the brother of Bill Menchen from Titanic/Final Axe/Seventh Power/Menchen etc. etc. Dead to Sin @ Myspace _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | Bruce and Bill are first cousins! I wouldn't know that except for the fact that they were also in Rev Seven together back in the day.
I wonder if this is ever going to be reissued. I had heard that Bruce was working on redoing the project. I am betting that Retroactive will be all over that if he does. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| They have the same layout as me, but they're too dated for my tastes now. Fight the Good Fight is the best of those 4. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Here you can check out how Dead To Sin sounds.
I will send a message to the Dead To Sin to ask about the reissue of the project.

I thought their background looked really familiar. I dig some of the "dated" sounding stuff, it can be a nice break from the monotony of the modern stuff. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

I do love a lot of modern music. But, sometimes I really miss the old stuff. Maybe it's just me waxing nostalgic, but the older rock just had a better sound and feel to it. So, if Dead To Sin ever reissue this, I'll definitely be all over it. If Retroactive does put this out, though, I would look for it to have a much more modern mastering done to it to really bring that "dated" sound up to modern levels much like they did with His Witness. (Great album, by the way!) _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Topshot does this mean that music has to do with age? I always thought older people like old music. Or is it that "dated people" listen to "dated music"? Yep again

| I still like much of the old stuff, but as Alldat somewhat hinted at, the production needs some help for me to enjoy it more. Most of the old stuff I like though was Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc. style. These guys aren't like that. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| That can happen. I'm sure Dead To Sin has an other sound when the CD is reissued. When a good production is important for you I can imagine the dated sound of this CD bothers you. | |

| Yes this band is definately not as heavy as many metal bands where back in the 80's. But it still fits within my spectrum of music. Hoping they will put this out with Retroactive in the next year or two. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
