I went geocaching in Chattanooga and South Pittsburg in Tennessee yesterday. I also dipped over the state lines and grabbed a couple of quick caches in both Georgia and Alabama. Yep, I am a beast!

I wrote a metal instrumental that stretches over 5 minutes. I know that's a bit long, but I'm rather fond of it, as there are some (ok, a lot of) musically weird things going on in it.

I remember seeing Whitesnake open up for Kiss back in the mid 80's. It was a fantastic show. I can't remember if it was in support of their Slide It In or self-titled album, but I remember they had at least a 45 minute set and John Sykes will still on guitar at the time.

The Haitian church was interesting. The service lasted a good two hours. They invited us to stay for a Haitian-style brunch, with some of the best pork I've ever eaten.
