| After almost 4 days of self imposed exile from civilization due to road conditions here, I ventured out to my monthly chiropractor visit. Man, was it good to get away from the house!! It was so good that I went to Harbor Freight and bought a belt sander that I don't need! Ain't life grand!
The sad part is that they are calling for up to two more inches of ICE today. What happened to Tennessee not experiencing winter like the rest of the world???? I want last year back! | It seems it's more winter in Tennessee than here. I barely survived a very gloomy rainy day. Tomorrow we're getting the same.
I think it's to late to hibernate now.

| I want to move to the mountains for spring and summer. Late fall and the winter I prefer a bit more sun. | |

| I find it hard to come to terms with what appears to be seasonal depression. I don't really enjoy winter all that much, and it may be because I'm just not getting enough sleep (and I can't really do much about that these days), but I'm feeling quite down. | |

| You may not be getting enough sun. Vitamin D deficiency can cause depression symptoms. | |

| Trouble is, there are two sorts of winter weather. It's either cloudy (and usually snowy) and mild, or clear and horribly cold. So I don't want to go outside when it's horribly cold, because it's horribly cold. And when it's snowy, it's a pain to walk anywhere in slush. But if only it could be mild and sunny… like summer… It probably doesn't help that I haven't been able to drive around in empty parking lots | |

| I had to fix a pipe under the kitchen sink today. I went to the hardware store and got the replacement part for $4. Then I had to buy $45 worth of tools to do the work because my son had managed to lose or destroy most of my good tools. While I was buying new tools I also bought a tool box and lock (another $25)... I shouldn't have anymore problem with lost/damaged tools. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... So how's the pipe? | |

| I'd love to go for a walk today, as I have the day off… but the weather is in "freaking Arctic blast" mode. No thank you. | |

| My walking for exercise has died off mostly due to cold weather as well. But, spring is fast approaching!!! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I do enough walking at work that I wouldn't want to walk for exercise. I need to get one of those things you clip on your belt to count how many steps taken to see how far I walk at work.
Currently the weather here is slightly on the cold side, cloudy, windy and rain in the forecast all week.

| It was only 39 degrees when I went to the gym yesterday at 11am..... I have been doing all my walking on the elliptical walker/runner at the gym (much better climate in there). I have really stepped it up lately, getting a higher average speed and I just upped my resistance level. I love the way I feel when I am done (must be the endorphins or something). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

I'm sorry, but I couldn't read past "It was only 39 degrees" because i was laughing so hard. This morning there was a dash symbol in front of the single digit on the thermometer! I ain't walking NOwhere!

This morning there was a dash symbol in front of the single digit on the thermometer! I ain't walking NOwhere! At least it wasn't a dash in front of the double digit. The low this morning was around -30°F. In my home town, the public works department actually put out an advisory for people to keep their water running so their pipes wouldn't freeze!

| Was outside for two hours today, scraping compacted snow off concrete pathways around the school. Couple that with a student meeting during which most people wouldn't shut up, and I'm dog tired. | |
