She needs to put on some ear-buds/head phones and crank some Iron Maiden.
I have this issue to, but mostly because I hear a constant ringing in my ears. So if it is too quiet for too long it really bothers me. I listen to music while I am working.

Meals in cafeterias are the worst, notably here where a lot of the students are very, very energetic. I feel way too out of place.

One time in class, it was first period in the morning (so everyone was tired, of course), and our teacher was talking about something or other that he found fascinating. So he said a bit sarcastically, "If that doesn't make you fall out of your seat in amazement, then you must be asleep."

We are having our Coming Home at school this week. That's the basketball homecoming--I don't know why they renamed it. Anyway, today is Disney day. Since Disney now owns the rights to Lucasfilm and all Star Wars characters, I am going as THE Sith Lord himself--Lord Vader. *Insert creepy metallic breathing here*
