Yer darn tootin'! Great solos can make a song if the song has a catchy verse and a big hook. Add all three of these together, and you have an anthem! The new country has learned well from this while the rock scene of today has forgotten. Country is even learning the lesson of you need a discernible riff to make the song instantly recognizable and a singer with a voice that is just a little different than the others. Why did we love the rock of the 80s? For all those things. Country music is adapting to draw us in and is getting a younger crowd too. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution.
