Oh you should watch it! A lot of Bergman's films deal with faith, Christianity, Paganism, etc. Interesting stuff. The Virgin Spring is also very good. I haven't seen Last Action Hero but that's an odd choice to have The Seventh Seal shown in it! Two VERY different movies... What is the context? | |

In the film a kid has a magic movie ticket that allows him to physically enter the world of a movie (while it's playing). The ticket also allows movie characters to come out of the films into the "real world". At some point the kid loses control of the ticket and it finds it way to the screen during a late night showing of "The Seventh Seal", just in time for Death to step off the silver screen into the our world. The movie (Last Action Hero) isn't very good at all (almost not even good in the way many campy B-films are good). So I'm not sure I would lose any sleep over missing it.

We have seen all of season 1 and part of season 2. I think everybody in our family loves it. My 13 year old son does a creepily accurate version of Rumpelstiltskin's laugh.
