| How's your boy doing now? Is there a medication the doctor can give him that stops coughing? | |

| Good news is my boy doesn't have whooping cough. Bad news is that we still don't know what is wrong with them. Kind of ticks me off that I had to pay two co-payments yesterday (to the tune of $185) plus what will be my portion of the ER visit and still have absolutely no idea what is wrong with him. What other kind of business is it that you can charge people ridiculous amounts of money and give them absolutely nothing in return? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | When we lived in Oklahoma my dad got sick. He was in and out of the hospital 3 times in 2 weeks. They diagnosed him 3 times before they got it right...2 weeks later he died. |

| Ouch! Not such a cheery note there. Sorry to hear that it went that way! Don't worry, Staybrite, I'm sure your situation won't be anything like that!
Sounds like a lot of people have been sick lately, though. We've all been sick around here this week too. Just a minor cold, thank God. But it's not fun when a one-year-old gets a cold and doesn't understand why she can't breathe when she tries to sleep. She has not been happy for the early part of this week. We're all doing much better now though, including the baby... again, thank God!

I smell what you're stepping in here. My son's (former) pediatrician recommended we visit the ER for two different incident about 4 months apart. My ER co-pay is $200. We hadn't even started paying for the first one before the second one happened... Maybe a career in ministry isn't for me. How hard is it to start a private hospital??? | |

Maybe a career in ministry isn't for me. How hard is it to start a private hospital??? It's frustrating indeed, and that's part of why they call medicine a "practice". Doctors get to practice and poeple until they get it right....sad part is we have to bury their mistakes. As for starting a private hospital I'm sure you can get a doctorate on-line, but the malpractice insurance has just got to be horrendously expensive. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Very sorry to hear about that BT. It sounds very similar to what happened with my father in law (but at least we had a little more time with him). He saw doctors and specialists for a year and a half, and got several "guesses" as to what might be wrong with him. They finaly found a cancerous tumor in his brain....less than 6 months later he was dead (at 51). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| When I got home, I discovered that I have no electricity to about half my house. Even after flipping the breakers, it's still out. Looks like I've got to find an electician. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| We unplugged the microwave and now the breaker is back on. I think we just need a new microwave.

| Yvonne: Yes, she had a GREAT time! She had SO much fun. I think some of the adults were kinda bored, but hey, the party wasn't for them, it was for Christina. She got SO many gifts! She didn't know what to play with... she just kept going from one to another to another... DBF: Well, the music wasn't LOUD, but it was loud enough... We had one of Christina's CDs playing - a Precious Moments CD of children's Sunday School songs... ---------- | |
