Apparently Rex doesn't know you can just rip the cd to Mp3 files. Seriously though, I doubt that "holding off" on digital distribution will prevent piracy. And I seriously doubt that the vast majority of illegal downloads are done by people who just can't find a legal download anywhere. I'm willing to bet the vast majority of illegal downloads are done by people who don't want to buy the album (regardless of the format). I'm sure there is a smaller third group of people who really want to hear the album before they plunk down $10 to $18 on something they can't get a refund for if it turns out they don't like it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... I do this too, from time to time, especially when it's a new band. Or, I just YouTube it. | |
