Beardad, what are you planning to do with the CDs ? Sell them ?
Not too sure. I’d love to get rid of them, but then id need to delete the music from my hard drive and phone and i am not sure I am ready to do that yet.
I actually took them all out of the boxes last week; currently they’re stacked around my living room. I intend to catalog them and then re-box them for the time being. It’s all part of my work preparing a NOK (next of kin) list so that should I pass away my daughter will know what to do with the stuff I leave behind. I thought while going through them, I’d find some I wanted to get rid of, particularly the secular stuff like iron maiden and Ozzy Osbourne. But I guess I’m just not ready. I’m too much of an audiophile. lol! I also have hundreds of records (though not as many as you! LOL), hundreds of tapes, and even several dozen eight tracks.

Yep. Two of them, though one doesn’t function 100%. The other works great. Neither require an amp, though the good one does require external speakers. I got it for free in a box of records a guy was giving away; I asked “what about this eight track player?” And he said “it’s yours.” Lo and behold, it works just fine. I love listening to the old 70s stuff on 8 track.
9/25 edit: Jamming to Commodores right now.
