For a long time there is Christian music.
Each time has his own signs, the 80's had, the 90's and the music of now too.
I'm sure the CDs who were released in 2009 have a complete different sound than the bands who released their music on cassettes in begin 80's.

What are typical signs of band from the 80's?
What are typical sings for bands from the 90's?
What is typical for the band from now?

What is your favorite time?
What bands do you like from the 80's?
What are your favorite 90's bands?
What are your favorite now bands?

I love the commerical 80's metal sound.

But I am also digging the newer stuff from the 2000's some of the modern rock is really cool and there are tons of indie bands doing old school 80's style rock or metal, or even some with a retro 70's kind of sound.

I liked some of the alternative and grunge stuff from the 90's, but it seemed like you had to sort through a bunch of mediocre bands to find the real gems.

I'm similar to staybrite. I love the old 80's stuff, but also the new stuff (alot of it is better quality) is pretty amazing. The 90's stuff was ok, but too much grunge, and too much average stuff.

For me the 80's have some cool band.
I love some bands from the 90's and like lots of modern rock bands of the 2000's.
