| No, that's not a new genre! What are some of the bands that you might have in your coolection that very few people actually have? One of the bands I have is called VU. They kind of had a mix between Stryper and Def Leppard. They only did two albums, and they were more demo sounding. I think they could have done a lot more with proper mastering to take them to the level they wanted to be. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I love VU- great band.
I don't see too many posts about A.N.D., but their "Get Real" album has been spinnin in my truck for 2 weeks now. I like these guys, good lyrics, shredding ac/dc type band, vox take a little to get used to but I like the different style singing.

| I have that one as well. It is very similar, to me, to the stuff Randy Rose did as Rose.

| I think I have Vu too. Can't remember.
Virginia Creeper must go in the Obscure metal column. Love that sound!

| Chase, total AOR sounding band (love it). Also have the bootleg mp3 files of the amazingly good Ledfoot album. (I still can't get over Fundy being a "Virginai Creeper" fan). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Scott Bradley - "In The Beginning" I paid an "arm and a leg" on eBay and ended up with mediocre hair metal with a few too many ballads. I wish he had come out with a follow up because it probably would have been a lot better.
Kidd Robin - "The Inevitable Return Of The Dinosaur Monster" Have not listened to this in years but recall it was pretty good in places. The band had a lot of talent and if they had come out in 1985 instead of the mid-nineties (the dark ages for metal) could have made a name for themselves.

I have both of those, and after seeing that Scott was going to do a follow up, I think it could have been great. Kidd Robin I couldn't get in to. I haven't played that CD in about 10 years! As for Virginia Creeper... I listened to a couple of the new songs on the Myspace site, and they rocked my world! Fundy _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| Not obscure, but maybe obscure to me, I like the sound of some of the songs from I Am Empire and Kings. Still trying to work out if it's something I should be buying or whether it's best left alone - but I do find some of the tracks very very catchy.
Anyone else have that album?

I had both of those but sold them a long time ago. Scott had a decent sound, but most of his songs just don't grab you. Kidd Robin was just a bad Queensryche close. I got rid of both and haven't missed either. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Dig the Voyager album (thought Vision was ok) but never even heard of Uglystyk, Warself, Kidd Robin or Scott Bradley. Me thinks I haven't been listening to Christain rock/metal long enough _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I Am Empire is more of an emo/alternative band. It's definitely not obscure--you can get it in almost any Christian bookstore here in the USA. Quite catchy. I bought the download.

You're gonna have to set me up with MP3s of that last one, though.
