| Hello, I'm looking for ideas for some hard Christian music for my brother. I know he likes Living Sacrifice. But mostly he listens to secular stuff like Korn and Coheed and Cambria. He kind of slipped away from the faith a few years back, but he's started to rethink some things (Prasie the Lord). I've been praying for him for about 10 years now! The only other Christian band that I know we used to listen to together back in the day was Poor Old Lu... anyone ever heard them? They were so cool! Anyway, I was thinking that maybe if I could find him some Christian music that he'll actually listen to, that might help him? Any ideas? |

| Hi Mydasies, weclome to CHM. There is a band called "Believe" (look for their link in our band links thread at the top of The Buzz section) that sounds quite a bit like Korn, but I have to confess that I have not heard anything from Coheed & Cambria. Maybe topshot or alldat will see this and have some good ideas. -- _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Just give him Rob Rock. He doesn't sound anything like the ones you've mentioned, but everyone loves Rob Rock!!!

| Rather than suggest a ton of bands that he may like, perhaps you (and he) could listen to some of the online stations so you can really hear what some of these bands sound like. I'd recommend ChristianHardRock.net though there are many others out there. Tri-Rock Radio plays a wide variety but they also include clean secular now - it used be the favorite of many here until that change. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
