Today I can add 3 caches more to my found geocaches.
Couldn't find 2 other caches by road works.
Sometimes I am amazed how cool the caches are.
Some are so difficult with a lot of calculations.

I added 4 yesterday (all shared FTFs with sabidoo) and two more finds today (one was a shared FTF with sabidoo & his girlfriend). I am now at 1107 with 26 FTFs.

Today we go out to find some more caches.
Yesterday night we went to a geocache we have tried before, but couldn't find it.
Yesterday we have found the cache.
On my list for a special day next week is a premium membership.

Must be cool to find FTFs.
Wow 1107 finds.
I don't dare to tell how many we have found.
I'm still a very neo-cacher.

You are still a neo, but you will soon progress past that. Just keep learning all you can by really paying attention to the harder finds. Those tricks will be used by other cachers at times. Once you've seen something, it is easier to spot it next time.

That's true.
Yesterday we tried a two and a half star multicache and have found it.
Now it's fun to find the more difficult caches and learn from it.

I found two yesterday, being second to find one of them (missed FTF by one stinking day). The third wasn't visible to me.

I found 3 yesterday. One was definitely an FTF on a very tricky cache that has been active for 3 weeks. I need to check with the owner, but it appeared that I was FTF on a second of those.

It gives a good feeling to find a tricky FTF isn't it?

I have found the one and only powertrail we have here.
There are hidden 31 caches and we are planning to do this powertrail next week.
It will take a day to find them all.
Must be fun ... to find them all.
It all are traditional caches.

How hard are the caches? What is their difficulty/terrain ratings? If these are easier caches, you might can do these in less than three hours. If one of you drives and the other grabs the cache/signs the log, you can move fast. If you can add a third person to sign the logs, you can really speed things up.

Terrain is one and a half star
Difficulty is one and a half star.
Looks simple.
The distance from cache to cache is not so far you have to use the car.
You can take an ATB with you.

Sounds like a good day of caching to me. Just remember, however, that power trails can get boring quickly.

We had my 1K event today. Not a big turnout, but I enjoyed seeing everyone and talking to them a bit.

Yvonne, since you did send a small gift, Darren and I want you to log the event cache just as if you were there. It would be our honor to include you.

On a serious note, I found two caches today (aiming for three). One was in the corner of a cemetery, the other on the beach. Quite an interesting time.

I hope you liked the small gift?
I will log the 1K cache. My first logged cache in the US.
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Today we tried an other cache. Ohhh man my legs hurt from all the walking we did. And it was a very warm day.
But I have found the cache and left a TB in this cache.
I had to walk along nettles and there under the bridge I have found the cache.

'Bout the powertrail, I think 31 caches is not to bad for one day.

So, Chris… was the GPS on your (beautiful) cake the same as your geocaching GPS?

The GPS shown on the cake is the same one I started with. Sabidoo also has the same unit. It will get the job done, but it did not give me the ability to go "paperless". I had several notebooks of notes of cache pages and my newer Delorme PN-40 gives me that ability to not need notes.

No, we are going to do the powertrail on Friday.

About the powertrail you have done in Alabama.
You go to the first cache and there you get the GC codes for the next?

No--the GC codes are all on the main website.

I just wonder if the trail I did in Alabama is even still there after that massive tornado over a week ago. Most of the town I was in (Tuscaloosa) is just gone.

The power trail we are going to do will be available till May 14th.
That means you have to load a lot of caches.

Some secret questions have to do with trees too.
I'm prepared and take a tree book with me.
A lot of cahces of this powertrail are micros or small, there's one large cache in.

I have the hope we'll find them all.
Now, let's go ...

I went for a little while today after school and found 2 caches. I had to walk a couple of miles to get the 2nd one. The woods were nice and peaceful, though, with nothing but the sounds of cicadas chirping.
