| One of the boys just went out and measured about 5 to 6 inches. Not bad for Western Washington. What is odd is that it is sticking around. We are on about day 3 of sustained snow, and we may get a little more today even. Not nearly as much as the mid-west gets, but even a little snow here is rare. The kids are very excited, they are hoping it will stick around until Christmas Here is a small bridge at our neighbors house. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Here in Southern California's Yucca Valley desert we got a foot (our first foot of snow in about 8 years) Front yard: Back yard: We lost a big chunk off of one of our Joshua Trees (before the heavy snow melted off it): | |

| I enjoyed all your pics of the snow. All we get next days is ice ... no snow. So next week we can skate on nature ice.
Staybrite it was on TV that it's pretty bad in Seattle. | |

| Well it looks as if we are trying to catch up with Yucca Valley, it is expected to snow a few more inches tonight. The snow isn't as bad in the Seattle area as it usually gets in the mid-west. The only difference is that we don't expect snow to stick around for more than a day (let alone a week or more). I think we only have 10 snow plows for the entire state. Nobody here knows how to drive in the snow, almost nobody has studded snow tires or chains. And we have considerably more hills than most of the mid-west. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| God has some sense of humor. I can't get out to enjoy driving in it. This is the first time EVER I've been snowed in. Our current cars aren't tall enough or don't have good enough tires to make it out of the alley. It took quite a bit just to get them out of the garage into the alley. Maybe in a few hours with more sun.... Growing up in the snowbelt around Cleveland, OH, we had a van and S-10 Blazer I could use. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Oh man snowed in. It snowed here again on Tuesday, just a dusting. But boy at this point even the kids have had enough, they don't even bother to go outside and play in it anymore. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Well we didn't really have a ice storm. It was just sleet that turned into snow. But it didn't stick around long enough to play in. | |
