Thanks everybody!!! (even those of you who have yet to actually wish me happy birthday... I know who you are... and I'm still waiting!).
It was an easy going weekend. We had a celebration for my oldest grandchild on Saturday(who's birthday is also on the 24th). So I got some birthday cake on Saturday AND Sunday (man I love birthday cake... too much obviously by my pants size). I did go to breakfast with my wife, and I got make a tri-tip on my smoker/grill for dinner. My wife said I shouldn't have to cook on my birthday, but I would rather cook good food myself then pay to go out and eat sub-par food. My grandkids came over and spent the night Sunday and Monday. Their mom (our daughter) works very early 3 days a week so they stay with us overnight twice a week. It's a bit chaotic (since there are 4 of them between the ages of 2 & 10), but it is great to spend time with them.

Sounds like you had a good day.
If you like, you can come cook on my birthday.

Thanks brother, it might be a bit too far for me to drive but I would love to cook for everyone at CHM.
