Has anyone else got it or listened to the three songs on YouTube? I do miss Scott Wenzel, but I like the new vocalist. For once, I am actually excited about a Rex Carroll project. If they do more songs, I think that Whitecross could be a force to be reckoned with once more.

I listened to all three of the songs on youtube. Something seems wrong with the mix or recording to me (but in all honesty that could just be the low quality youtube upload nonsense). The singer isn't really my favorite (but certainly no slouch) but the music is simply fantastic.

I think this is supposed to be considered demos and not final mixes of these songs.

I had no idea they were doing anything. I remember hearing one song (a couple of years ago?) and I liked it. Then nothing else happened.

They are for sure demos. It's explained briefly on the CD sleeve. The mp3 album off of Amazon sounds better than the songs off of YouTube.

They did at least one new song this past weekend. It may not be quite the same without Scott, but Dave Roberts is doing a good job and the band said back in February that Scott doesn't want to be involved with the group anymore.

I'm fine with Dave at the helm with the vocals. Where did you hear that about Scott not wanting to be involved anymore?

That's what one of the band members said at their concert back with Bloodgood back in February.

Went ahead and ordered the mp3's from Amazon. Physical CD for $9.99? No thanks, not for 3 songs.

Yeah that's what I had said. I thought maybe Rex was trying to recoup the printing on the sleve and on the cd?

The odd thing is that you can no longer buy music on the Amazon app. You have to use a computer. Apparently Amazon disabled music purchases from all of their apps in April. Doesn't make sense at all.

I started listening to Whitecross in 93. I personally do not care for anything they put out after Rex left. The sound changed and I checked out. I'm glad they are back and with Dave at vocals. I miss Scott but I like Dave. I can handle Scott not being involved more than I can handle Rex not being involved. Can't wait for the new album to release next year.
