| For the first time ever I was able to see a live gig of Whitecross. How cool it was to hear Scott Wenzel singing, to see Rex Carroll playing guitar, to hear Michael Feighan playing drums. I have forgotten the name of the bass player. Aww. Whitecross played one hour. In one hour we heard: Down, Living On The Egde, Enough Is enough, Good Enough, a very cool Rex Carroll guitar solo, an impressive drum solo by Michael Feighan, Who will Follow, No Way I'm Going Down and I song I have forgotten the name. What I heard was vet gaaf, yep really. The last song Whitecross sung was In The Kindom, the audience sung with the band. Scott had a good and bold message for the audience. For me Whitecross sounds live very good. It's cool to see Scott walking over the stage.
I enjoyed it so very much to see Whitecross, their live gig was great.
There was an intervieuw with Scott and Rex, but no word about the end of Whitecross.

| It really was a blast. It's so cool to see those guys realy playing.
That's what I thought too Gary, how cool it would be to go to a show like this with many other CHM members. Then we can headbang together. My kids were not very impressed about all the cool music I heard two days ago.

| Sounds like it rocked. Which WhiteCross does anyways. Now it's a wait & see if Scott changes his mind and WhiteCross comes back. You would think that if the turnout was good a little bit of a spark would go off | |

| I hope the Rex and Scott can at least give up one more project before Scott retires completely from music. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Glad to hear they put on a great show, wish I could have been there to see it. Ok....um....going off topic for a moment here. What exactly does " Vet gaaf" mean. I'm guessing that it means something like "majorly cool" or "totally awesome" or something like that.

| Very cool or something close to that in Dutch. Vonnie will have to give the current proper translation. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| It means "very cool". She taught us this a couple of weeks ago. If you guys don't pay attention, then she will give you a failing grade at the end of the semester!

| Well a couple of weeks ago I wasn't here. Up until about a week ago I had not been here for a few months.
Maybe I will get a pardon and stay of execution at the end of the semester.

| I love Whitecross! Their best album is probably either Triumphant Return, S/T or 1987.
On a side note, I was on holiday this week just gone, and I went through two towns/villages called Whitecross and White Cross!!! If I had enough time to stop I'd have taken a photo of me by the sign! Maybe next time!

"Stay Of Execution" .... Hardcore, I give you some extra time in your summer vacation from school to learn Okay...what's with the Deliverance name-dropping? If Chris doesn't soon pull it together, his Camelot will be in smithereens. She was originally referring to my post with it. - Hardkore wrote:
Maybe I will get a pardon and stay of execution at the end of the semester. I had originally thought of the term pardon in reference to something like "missing class" as Chris was referring to. I also wanted to not get executed for "missing class" so I put in stay of execution which doesn't nessesarily refer to the D album. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stay_of_execution A stay of execution is a court order to temporarily suspend the execution of a court judgement. In cases where the death penalty has been imposed, a stay of execution may be sought to defer the execution of the convicted person. This may occur in light of new evidence that will exonerate the convicted person, or in attempts to have the sentence commuted to imprisonment. Getting back on topic here..... I have heard for some time about Rex and Scott doing a new WC album. Has anybody heard anything about it lately? I was also wondering who they will get to do the bass on it. It would be cool to see Jon Sproule's name show up for it. According to wiki, Mike Feighan (drums) is still concidered a current member. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitecross

| They were supposed to. There was a post awhile ago, I think it is in the CMR, from thier former promoter (I think she was but not sure,do know she was in charge of their website) and she said that Scott Wenzel had retired from music. That pretty much put the kibosh on a new album. It would be a lot better if Rex or Scott would release some kind of statement on their own however. I will keep my fingers crossed but not hold my breath for a new WhiteCross album | |

| At Legens Of rock I went to an interview with Rex and Scott. I heard a lot, but I 've heard not a word about stoping or a retirement for Whitecross. Michael Feighan is the drummer for Whitecross, at least he was that 9 days ago. | |
