This doom laden album from 1993 was Randy Rose’s second solo album. This gem was released while he was also still recording with his brother in rock-alternative band Mad at the World. The Rose albums can probably been seen as an offshoot of the few songs he was singing on the MATW albums. While I think all of Randy Rose’s albums are fantastic (with the exception of “Crazy World”), “Healing” is arguably his best album.
I think a large part of the appeal for this album has to be credited to the very accomplished doom style riffing from guitarist Steve Kamanda.
One of my favorite aspects of the first two Rose albums (Sacrificium, and Healing) is the raw intensity in the lyrics and performance.
Randy went on to record on several other projects, Mood Ring, The Crocodiles, and Mothership all with varying styles.
If you haven't heard any Rose yet you can check them out at their myspace site

The songs "Fallen" and "On My Knees" are both from the "Healing" album.
