| Just curious if there were any other Soldier fans here. I love em. Anybody else into them - sound off. | |

| I really liked their tracks from the California Metal 2 compilation. I had that definitive collection album they put out a few years back, but there was something really bad with the guitar tone (or was it the drums) that made it really difficult to listen to for me, and I traded it. (odd because I am not overly picky about recording quality). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I also bought that album, Staybrite, but for some reason I couldn't get in to it. Yes, it sounded okay, but there wasn't anything punchy about it. Maybe I should give it a second listen! Fundy _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| The Soldier CD I bought is traded, well that tells you enough. It's always wise to listen some years later to stuff you never liked. Even music tastes can change. Now don't think I am a cookie monster fan when I am 65, some music I really don't like. | |

| Well, I can honestly say that I loved it. Considering that the CD was not professionally recorded (this was a demo tape put to CD), I think the sound quality was fine. I wasn't expecting high quality sound. I was expecting to hear a demo album of a band I never got to hear. I loved it. I do, however, wish that they could have done the same thing with the Soldier disc that they did with Regime. With Regime, the guitarist went back in and beefed up his guitar parts by recording additional tracks over their demo album. It was a nice touch. Had Soldier done that (same guitarist, by the way), most people would have never known this was a demo. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |
