| I think we'll have to be at reduced capacity, in order to allow for social distancing and such, but I'll take it. | |

| Our church will be meeting this Sunday. I'm very glad! But in other news, I filed for unemployment the other day. :/ I really hope this whole ordeal is over swiftly and I can find steady work again. | |

| My "vacation" has been extended 2 weeks! I haven't filed for unemployment. I have gotten my garage pretty much done - just need a final inspection and a few minor things. Looks like I get to start the next major project now. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| So a latest study I saw said Panama City, FL could become the number one hot spot for cases.
Starting Monday we will be required to wear masks (provided by the company).

I am still working (and able to keep my employees working) but seeing as how we are directly tied to construction I see a major slow-down coming in a few months. - topshot rhit wrote:

Dang, at this rate you are going to have the entire house re-built before the end of the summer! But it seems like you have been remodeling that house for several years now. I think maybe you are addicted. - Black Rider wrote:

I fear you going to be proven correct. - MikeInFla wrote:

| If they make them mandatory, then the state you live in should provide them to you for free.
If a business tells you you have to wear a mask to enter and won't let you, then you should either ask them to give you one and threaten to sue them for discrimination if they do not. Besides, you let a few knuckleheads start holding up convenience markets wearing hospital masks and the government will come off of this. It will happen as more people become financially unstable because of this.
Wearing a mask now, to me, seems about as useful as putting on your seat belt after a wreck or wearing a condom after your wife has been told she is pregnant. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Restrictions are starting to ease in Arizona. This Monday the 4th non-essential businesses that offer delivery and curbside pickup will be allowed to open. On Friday the 8th all non-essential businesses can open.
Good news is that the following Saturday, the antique mall in which I am a dealer is going to reopen after closing the past month. Could not be more excited!

That's actually a cropped view of my senior picture (form 1986). I found it a few months ago and was super sad that I don't have hair anymore. Thought it would make a fun avatar. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

The house proper has been done except for siding for a while now. There's really nothing wrong with the siding except where I moved windows and doors during the remodel so a few parts just don't match. - Staybrite wrote:

I was indeed shocked to see so much hair. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Walmarts here are not allowing you to try on clothing and will not allow returns of those items if they do not fit.
How does that help? People are picking up and putting down all the other merch in the store. If you buy most items, you can return them. Aren't you still at risk of infecting someone? This whole situation is full of over-reactions and hypocrisies.

It was technically supposed to be a remodel (retain 51% to remain grandfathered regarding setbacks) but inspector let me slide so it's from scratch. The only original things remaining are the slab, which I poured over and extended, and the garage door header that I had put in when we bought the place 25 years ago. If you hit my FB photos from early Oct you'll see before and in progress pics. The only thing I didn't do was pouring the concrete. Edit: building inspector just approved it. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

This whole situation is full of over-reactions and hypocrisies. If it weren't for double standards, WM might not have any standards at all. As things stand, we're still operating from 7 AM-8:30 PM, I have to have my temp taken as soon as I enter the building, and we're still forced to wear these stupid masks. It's time for Bentonville (our corporate office) to recognize states' rights and open us back up to 24 hours, and to slow their roll with the mask-wearing nonsense. I feel like we're all forced to participate in this foolish masquerade that accomplishes absolutely nothing.
