So I got an email from Girder Music today, and they have bought some copies of an album by the band Piercing The Darkness. They have one video on the CD page that you can listen to. It isn't the best band ever, but it was something new with Christian lyrics in a style I liked. So, I bought one. I checked the band's FB page, and they have been broken up since 2017, so I can't imagine that there will be tons of these discs left.
If you want one or just want to see the video, then you can click here:

Musically I really dig their sound. Something about the vocal delivery doesn't work for me...almost like he's singing for a thrash band....but this certainly isn't thrash music (like Dave Mustaine singing for Great White....or something). I did manage to find a few more of their songs on tooyube.

I've listened to them on YT, not bad but not great. I don't get a Mustaine vibe, just a southern thang in the vocals.

To be honest, the vocals have more of a Ted Nugent kinda vibe to me as does the music. Not bad at all!
I went ahead and ordered from Girder and can't wait to see how this sounds.

For anyone thinking of buying this, be advised that this is an EP with only 6 songs.
