| So does anyone else have this album yet? Have you listened to the whole album.
I've listened to it twice and hear are my thoughts so far. It is a little different than the bands previous work (but not by a whole lot). I like the recording of Eli's vocals here better than on any of the Sacrificed albums and I think he fits nicely in the band. Sadly he seems a little buried in the mix (especially on the first track). I wish they would have gotten a better produciton/mix out of this recording, and the album seems to be missing some of the hooks that dominated their earlier work. Overall I am pretty satisfied, but there is no danger of this album topping my favorite Sacred Warrior album (Obsessions).
What are your thoughts? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

That's been my complaint with The Sacrificed's sound so far: they bury Eli in the mix. He's got a decent voice, but too many times I cannot understand what he says because he is too far back in the mix. With The Sacrificed, they blamed it on the guy mixing on all three albums. Perhaps he likes having his vocals pulled back. For me, bring them out a bit more so we can understand you. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I've ordered it and am waiting for the CD to arrive. The samples I've heard I like the sound but can understand what people are saying about the vocals disappearing a bit.

| I have it and luv it. Agreed with the vocals though. It's the heaviest album to date. It cranks! | |
