| I just hope that if they keep Eli that they learn to bring his vocals up a bit in the mix. Supposedly that was something that slipped through on a couple of Eli's other band's albums. However, every album I've heard him on, he is hard to understand in his upper register singing and especially so as he seems to like his vocals to be quieter in the total mix. He is more than competent in the vocal category. Why not bring the vocals up a bit so that they can be enjoyed more? If not for the vocal level, their last album could have been a much more frequent player for me. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| That snippet sounds much like the last one...no thanks. The last album wasn't nearly melodic enough for me. More power to 'em...but I'll pass. | |

| I liked the last one ok and listened to it a lot when it first came out. But the best song was the title track and nothing else on the album even came close to that song. And as others have said sometimes the vocals are buried on some songs. May or may not get it. Saving up for Recon vinyl preorder which is coming soon. | |

| I loved their last album and thought the vocals came through loud and clear. My favorite song was 'Long Live The King'. I'll definitely be picking the new one up. | |

| I really liked the last album, but did have a hard time hearing/understanding some of the vocals (hope they can get that straightened out for this next album). My biggest complaint was that I was hoping the songs would have more hooks (like Obsessions did), and be a bit more melodic (like FofJ was saying). Not that any of that would be a serious deal breaker for me as I will likely get it anyway. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
