| A big word of thanks to our friend Yvonne for getting the Reading List and New CDs - Downloads threads for 2020 started. I will now get them stickied to the top of the forum. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| It's a collection of his podcast stories plus his own insight and/or personal related story to them. Thus far I've really enjoyed it. | |

| Our men's group at church has been reading The Bruised Reed by Richard Sibbs and should be finishing it this Friday. It's a great book and I highly recommend it. | |

This is the first novel in the series that the Amazon show The Expanse is done from. Each season is one novel.

| Ok, I need a little help from you avid readers. Several years ago my wife and I read a series of books (3 or 4). Written by a female Christian author. The novels where all centered around a family and their neighborhood who were struggling through the aftermath of a global EMP event that caused all of the electronics to quit working. They had to start growing their own food and wash clothes by hand etc. Anyone remember the author and the book series? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| That would be Terri Blackstock and her Last Light series. Phenomenal and ahead of the curve for its time. | |

Thank you! I remember both me and my wife read these books (which is rare, we don't tend to like the same stuff). We got them from the library, and I can't even remember if we read all four or just the first three (this had to be at least 3 maybe even 4 or 5 years ago). Out of the blue she asked me the other day if I remembered the story-line and who was the author. Couldn't remember to save my life. _________________ "I used to be indecisive..........
