Let's all strive to get off of social media a bit more this year and into a good book, or even THE Good Book. What are you reading this year!

The wife is making me read the recent autobiography from Ron De Santis the Governor of Florida (since he might be the next U.S. presidential Republican candidate)
It is an easy read but kind of boring. I mean he’s led a good life and seems like a moral guy, but I’m used to reading non-fiction so I need more action, or murder, or intrigue. Some laser pistol fights would be nice too!

Deadly Pursuer by S.A. Stacy
If you like spy, action, detective kind of novels you should give this new author a try. She is a Christian and her main character is as well. The lead character is a young female detective who did a brief stint with one of the alphabet groups (like CIA, DEA, FBI etc.). This is the author's first novel and it is actually pretty darned good for a first stab at writing. The author belongs to a group of writers who have been mentored by a popular Christian Fiction Writer who's name escape me (it's either Jerry Jenkins or Frank Pereti).
I just downloaded her second book (Deadly Deciever) which stars the private dectives Katie Parsons & Dan Beck who were introduced in the first novel.
Disclaimer: The author is the older sister of my work partner. A guy I have worked with for just over 20 years.

Yes, these are young adult novels but entertaining nonetheless. This is the 2nd, and as far as I know, last book of the series.
Currently reading:
The Letter Keeper - Charles Martin

Oh yeah, I've read few of those YA novels myself. Nothing wrong with it. Thanks.
