| Have you all seen the reissues of bands like Daniel Band and Barnabas? Do you keep buying new versions? I liked the remastering job that Cliffy did? Are any of the reissed reissues worth getting?
The bigger booklets have been mentioned to me as a selling point. I really don't care about all the extras. I rarely even listen to a CD these days. I buy them And rip them to my FiiO. What do I need with a bigger booklet?
I wish there were some way to do a side by side comparison. I don't really want to rebuy music I already have unless there is a daylight to dark difference, you know?
I am curious as to your thoughts on this. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I only buy the reissues if I own the original and I expect that the reissue will have superior mastering and possibly decent bonus content (or I don't even have the original). I refuse to keep buying reissues of albums that were already reissued 5-10 years back when I have the first reissue. (Haven, Stryken, Daniel Band etc.). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I don't bother with the re-issues unless it's the first time I've purchased the album. | |

| I have bought a few like the first Ransom album and the Fear Not one just because of bonus tracks. I won't rebuy the Daniel Band or Barnabas albums. I am fairly satisfied with the versions I have. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I picked up Ransom because I never purchased it before. The Barnabas re-issues that I listened to didn't make that much of a difference so I'll stick with the copies I have. | |

| Oops, I saw "reissues of reissues" and thought it was a Saint thread.
Yeah, I usually pass unless it is a significant improvement over what I already have.

| Unless it's something I didn't bother to pick up because of poor quality the first time around, or if there is major improvement over the original I don't worry about reissues....I don't need 3 or 4 copies of the same album. | |

| I only try and keep one copy of each album, and when it comes to reissues I only tend to buy them if there are good bonus tracks on there. I'm not really interested in demos of existing tracks or live tracks. I can only think of a couple of albums that I have more than once (Tourniquet being one of them).
Still I am partial to a nice insert with great pictures and the lyrics. BUT that isn't enough to sway me if I already have the album _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| Ah...now the rarities and unreleased material will sometimes qualify as enough of an improvement to me. | |

If, and I say a big IF, those rarities and bonus tracks are of a decent sound I might rebuy something. Most of the time, though, the extra tracks are such poor quality that they are not even listenable.
