Babylon Mystery Orchestra

Am I the only one here who likes Babylon Mystery Orchestra? Yes, I understand that BMO brings a brand of metal on the dark and Gothic side of things and the vocals are not everyones cup of tea. That being said, in time I was able to grow into the most recent BMO release, "The Great Apostasy", and do not really mind the vocals.

Also, a new CD from BMO, "Axis Of Evil", is going to be out next month.

But seriously, I like what I have heard of his work musically, but I just can't seem to get past the vocals.

I think so.

He certainly doesn't hold back against Islam on the new one. As was said on Firestream, "not for the faint of heart."

It is the vocals that keep me away from BMO as well.

Personally, I kinda like the vocals, and I dig the music. Lyrically, I just don't get BMO though. I am not so sure of some of the concepts put forth are really necessary to get his point across. I guess he goes over the line IMO and that is why I don't enjoy it more.

I have one of BMO's albums and thought a couple of the tracks were pretty good. But the vocals do tend to keep me away abit.
