| My wife and her mom are going shopping tomorrow and probably won't be in until 7 or 8. So, I found a matinee of Star Wars: The Last Jedi showing at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon after school. So, I just bought a ticket! Our theater took out all the regular seats and put in these really nice electric recliners. You can prebuy tickets and reserve your seat. DONE!
Looks like I will be seeing this show this weekend! May the Force be with you! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| It was astonishing. I will say no more, except that it may have become my favourite Star Wars film of them all. | |

| It isn't my favorite, but I am betting it will be my favorite of the three in this trilogy. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| We went to see the Dancing Lights of Wilson County last night. It is a huge light display that used to be in Nashville until they lost their lease for the property they used. This display has MILLIONS of lights that are all synched to a certain radio station's Christmas broadcast. It cost $25 per carload to go through. After expenses, the profits go to the Nashville Ronald McDonald House, the Second Harvest Food Bank, and the National Kidney Foundation.
We have been now 4 years in a row and it has become a fun tradition for us. We take Holly's mom with us, so it has become an extra special time knowing that we won't have her with us forever seeing that she is now 78 and showing signs of slowing down.

| I'm so happy today. My daughter -in-law is in deep pain after her son was born. she has pelvic dislocation. Today she has visited a physiotherapist who was able to help her. The pain she had for 6 months is gone. | |

| My wife and I moved into our house 27 years ago. We had a fire shortly after and bought new furniture. Well, after 27 years, it doesn't look very good anymore.
So, we took $200 that my wife's mom gave us for Christmas, combined it with a $25 gift Visa that a coworker gave, and pulled the rest from savings so we wouldn't have to finance it.
Our furniture isn't the only thing that is that old. The carpets in that room are also 27 years old. I know--you should replace them every 7 to 10 years. We don't have guests over, and it wasn't bothering me.
We pulled up our carpet in the living room a few years ago. We found antique 3/4" hardwood floors underneath that the fire restoration folks said they had to spray with Killz paint to get the smoke smell out. They did NOT spray it and just laid the carpet over the hardwood.
Still reading? Well, with the new furniture, we bought a suit that looks older and intentionally distressed. We thought that same hardwood flooring would be beautiful with the new furniture. We have been ripping out old carpet and hauling off stuff that we no longer want or need. I still have 1/3 of the room to do, but I will rip it out when we take the current bed out as that is where the remaining carpeting is.
Whew! Busy day!!!

| Now all the carpet, frame, padding, and even staples out of the floor are all gone from our bedroom now. We keep sweeping, but dust keeps settling. I don't care how good your vacuum is, under your carpets is a cesspool of filth.

| And up until now I thought carpets were made of magic that allowed everything that fell into them to disappear. We never had carpet floor, but we had carpets on our floor for a while. They're horrible if you have cats that shed and throw up and do their business into them.
Happy rolling over of the Gregorian odometer.

I'm not really a fan of the last day of the year. Same here. The most difficult time of the year for me begins about now. Luckily the weather has been nice here, but when it gets cold my pain levels increase substantially... then the seasonal depression creeps in. What I'm trying to say is I really dislike winter

Apparently when his bark didn't get him water in his bowl he picked up the dish and threw it at the girlfriend of his owner... "I'm thirsty woman!!"

https://twitter.com/BlackHalt/status/948446367311122437 That was awesome ! I imagine the dog's actually enjoying that, and not just doing it due to being trained and expected to do it. Much like those dogs who skateboard - they must enjoy it !

| Dogs are pretty clever. I once was at a friend's place. She had a german shepherd that came down stairs, gently placed its jaws around my wrist and led me up the stairs to the treats cupboard whereupon it sat down and stared at the cupboard, looked at me, stared at the cupboard, looked at me..."you wanting something Crystal?" lol
My girlfriend was amazed. The dog had never done that before...it just wanted a treat and figured out how to get it....go to the pushover.
I grew up in a subdivision with winding streets. When our car came to the main road, if we turned left, my dog would whine and hide her nose under the seat because left equaled "going to the vets" and right equaled going somewhere else. If we turned left and then after about half a mile turned left again, she would happily jump back up on the seat because she new that "left again" equaled going on an adventure. If we turned right after that half mile jaunt, she continued to be freaked out because that DEFINITELY meant we were going to the vet.
Weirdly, we only went to the vet once a year or so. C-L-E-V-E-R!

Nope. I haven't. But then, I only just saw the last one a couple months ago so I probably don't count in the tally.
