I found Halford's "Winter Songs III" to be really good... I know He's not a Christ-follower, but He does these songs in a very honorable way --- without changing the Lyrics and the band is killer.

There are a ton of great metal Christmas songs! Some of my favorites (that haven't already been mentioned, like all of Theocracy's Christmas songs which are great) are:
Becoming The Archetype - O Holy Night Blood Thirsty - O Come Emanuel (The One Foretold) Warpriest - We Three Kings (Gathering Gloom Version) Warpriest - I Wonder As I Wander Frost Like Ashes - Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silent Tortured Conscience - Little Drummer Boy Signum Regis - The Magi Flaskavsae - Christmas EP (all the songs are good) Epta Astera - Veni Emmanuel Epta Astera - Gaudete Century Sleeper - Gaudete Vials Of Wrath - Greensleeves (What Child Is This) Immortal Souls - Christ Mass Grave Robber - Grandma Got Half-Eaten By A Zombie Kekal - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Frank's Enemy - Coventry Carol Aldaria - The Three Kings

Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/14) - Trans-Siberian Orchestra Wizards In Winter - Trans-Siberian Orchestra Jingle Bells - Brian Setzer Silent Night, Holy Night Jam - Joe Satriani The Metal Drummer Boy - Derek Close (shameless plug but I really do like it)

My favorite is probably the album We Wish You a Metal Christmas and a Headbanging New Year. Some great stuff on there. Dio singing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlement" and Alice Cooper's "Santa Claws is Comin' to Town" are my favorite tracks on the album. There's also Twisted Sister's Christmas album. On the Christian side of things, I really like that Season in Chaos album Kerrick mentioned and those Theocracy songs.
And I don't want to open a can o' worms, but I was thinking I had read that Halford was a Christian.

I recall reading a few years ago he few up on a Christian home, prays every day and "follows the teachings of Jesus", which is somewhat vague but maybe he's on the right path.

Aside from all of Theocracy (incl. Bethlehem) and several TSO, many of my favorites are fairly mellow but always give me tingles: Kutless - Mary Did You Know Jeff Scheetz - O Holy Night Stride - What Child Is This?

I do listen to TSO's 3 Christmas albums every year along with Rock Power Praise 2. Also have Gary Hoey's Ho, Ho, Hoey 1 & 2 and Merry Axemas: A Guitar Christmas.

Is it almost that time of year again. I must be the only person in the world that doesn't really like Christmas music.

I only like it in small doses. I play some in between all my regular music during the month of Christmas. I won't play any until AFTER Thanksgiving.

I never listen to Christmas music, even not when it's Christmas. There's one song I really like. That's "O Holy Night"

I used to be that way because I grew up listening to Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Nat King Cole and all that traditional Christmas music you hear on the radio. But a couple years ago someone made me a mix with off-beat Christmas music and I really enjoy it. I also like Brad Paisley's Christmas album and have a mix of songs from several artists who recorded one song for a comp.
