Albums:
Hear the Light
Find Your Heart a Home
Approaching Light Speed
Feel the Fire
Little Foxes

The Gospel According to Barnabas (a compilation or best of if you will)

I dig Barnabas.  Especially Approaching Light Speed, Feel the Fire and Little Foxes.

I like them, but there albums are a little hit and miss for me.  They were never a favorite of mine.

I have the reissued albums that came out a few years back.  At one time, Nancy Jo Mann was attempting to reissue these through Retroactive Records but I think that fell through.  She still wants them reissued and is hoping to release a new album.  I don't know if she will use her own name or the Barnabas name.

I believe that they are going to be re-releasing some of the albums.

I personally prefer Little Foxes.

I have the "Little Foxes" and "Feel the Fire" albums that were reissued on one CD several years back. They are both very good IMO. I don't have ALS, but I have heard it a few times and it is fantastic as well. I have to confess to not being much of a fan of the first two albums.

I don't remember which one, but a lot of fans were up in arms about one of the previous Barnabas reissues.  There was a skip or something that made it to the final print.  I know that happened with Sin Dizzy as well.  I could hear it on Sin Dizzy as I was familiar with the material.  With Barnabas, though, I never picked up on what others heard.

I have "The Gospel According to Barnabas", that's good enough for me.

I dig this band… one of the rare '80s Christian bands that experimented with the progressive, yet were stinkin' heavy, and didn't sound like they were trying too hard to be progressive.
